He’ll be back in ~22 hours, don’t you guys worry
If Luciom is banned for a long time, or permabanned, they should bring him back. Every forum needs a foil, and I don't have the heart and focus to stay posting on here for hours and hours on end.
That’s actually an intersting existential point
Without Lucy I think Victor might think he’s next man up but I don’t think anyone takes that seriously
As an Iranian who is probably 4-6 months away from being rounded up in one of Trump’s internment camps if I don’t shape up I guess I’m down for a heel turn

Not that fairness has everything to do with it, but it's still kind of hard to go after me considering the stuff I've been saying for the last 3 years has been proven so correct that's it's not even controversial anymore.

You mean the stuff about how cool Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot were? No, my little buddy, I do not think much has changed in the last 3 years as to the correctness of those statements.
No one ever thought that Angel Reese was going to be more of the face of the WNBA than Caitlin Clark.
this so much, but it's insane how much pushback cc has gotten from a lot of players and former players who are understandably jealous that cc made more in college than they did over a decade long all star career
but again, most people don't know who those women were before cc, she's been a huge boon to the wnba, ratings and attendance are at all time highs and significantly higher than before she joined - they should all be praising her
kinda makes me wonder if guys like jordan got a lot of resentment from his peers despite that he helped them all make a lot more money

I actually think this illustrates how female hierarchies work very differently than male ones, for psych ev reasons. In male hierarchies, which is what most of us can relate with (because we are male and 99% of our sports exposure is male athletes), status is determined largely on individual prowess and high status males are generally given deference.
In female hierarchies, there is much more cooperation and alliances. And exceptional individuals who dont have allies are often isolated and ostracized.
I remember reading somewhere that in male sports the best player is generally regarded as a leader and popularly viewed. Where in female sports the best player often does not have any leadership role or alliances on the team.
Just completely different social psychologies at work.
The three biggest lies men will tell you is that he’s 6 feet tall, 6 inches long, and makes 6 figures.
This is why the devil’s number is 666.

For me, ladies' tennis is a lot more exciting than men's tennis.
I'm sure mongidig agrees with you, or would if he could get both hands to his laptop.
Weird to delete all the posts, but okay.
I guess I could request that mongoloid get added to the filter? I agree that reading the wiki makes it seem like a really bad word, but I've never heard it used specifically as a slur. Its not particularly common to use the word at all
I assume most others are in the same boat as calling mongidig mong goes back at least a year
You've never known that was an offensive word? That's weird I thought everyone knew that it's why I've never referred to mongidig in that manner. Very surprised indeed that neither you or girgo were aware of how offensive it is.
I knew mongoloid was an insult, but I didn't know it was a racial epithet, I used to think it was a synonym of neanderthal. Somebody on here educated me on this some 6 months ago and I said my bad and haven't called him or anybody else mongoloid since.
Significantly more people than ever before, which is pretty cool.
Forever? Why not? It's not like the WNBA is crushing the NBA's bottom line. NBA just signed a fat-ass 11-year contract with TV providers. All the franchises keep breaking their own records for profitability. NBA is doing great, and you dinosaurs complaining about the broads wanting to hoop isn't changing that.
