2026 WSOP!!!
Any excitement yet??
Anyone happen to know if weβll need to get our ID checked again for the WSOP+ app or are we good if
Four day 1s is too many in these smaller tournaments. Bag day 1a, wait three full days just to play again. Maybe you still don't even cash (Monster + Milly bag before the money, roughly top ~22-25%). That's not friendly for people on a tight timeline. As you suggested, it also clogs the schedule and blocks slots that could be dedicated to other events altogether. I'm glad the experiment fell relatively flat. I won't shed tears if they revert some of these events back to 2-3 starting flights. Three flights felt like a reasonable middle ground of reducing gridlock while not taking up the majority of a week just to get through a day 1.
I just rebooked my 4 night stay at the Horseshoe for the Monster Stack. I got a slightly better deal this evening (01/27). I saved about $50 or 8.76%. I hope I guessed right on the dates. Every little bit helps.
This might be my last rodeo.
The prices they keep giving me are the highest Iβve been given in years. That coupled with their lack of enthusiasm for the series makes me feel like last year was my last rodeo.
Feeling sort of over it at this point.
Hey Doc, in 2 weeks and 4 days they will release the full schedule. That should help renew your (our) enthusiasm. The prices and the blasted resort fees are what they are, they have us by the you know what. With a $50 daily resort fee they can't even provide a cheap coffee maker like they have at the Gold Coast. I will bring my own coffee mug, dipstick heater and instant coffee. That's if I am still alive in four months, LOL.

Invest $15 - $20 max in a mini 5 cup Mr Coffee - leave it in the room when you leave - Keep checking rates and rebook anytime they move down. Also try calling the Horseshoe direct - they have been helpful to me when changing reservations and getting even better rates than online in times past. I got EXTREMELY lucky with my own very early booking price and you just never know so keep checking.
Alright, I'm going to start looking at rates now.
Lost my diamond status when they stopped offering it for Wyndham credit card holders.
If anyone knows how to get diamond back on the cheap, I'm all ears.
Your best day is hitting the casinos on a 10x multiplier day if you can make it work.
There are more than a few posts in the Facebook "CAESARS REWARDS Diamond and Above" group that there will be a 10x TC multiplier May 25-31, and a 5x in late June.
I saw yet another cheaper price for a 4 night stay at the Horseshoe and rebooked again. So I've booked this same stay for a third time. Is there a limit? That aside, what do sliding prices indicate? Are they expecting lower attendance at the series? Will foreign players stay away? Will rates shoot up once the schedule is announced mid-February?
No limit on it and I used to do it all the time. But since theyβre screwing me over this year with high prices, thatβs not going to happen.
But yeah, keep canceling and rebooking as they get cheaper and cheaper!
Might be the wrong thread but for the first time I am looking to go out to the WSOP for a month. Usually I am there for ~10-12 days and just stay in 1-2 hotels. Any recommendations on where to look for a month long rental, I looked a bit on AirBnb and VRBO, are those the best places to look or is there someplace else also? And man, there are literally 100's of listings for MGM signature "condos" or whatever those are, guess a ton of people bought those places thinking it would be quick cash for Air BNB money lol.

I don't know if there is a site dedicated to the LV market, but those are the two main ones I use when I'm traveling anywhere in the country. I've noticed though that LV specifically has a ton of actual hotel rooms listed on Airbnb, which is annoying when you're not looking for a hotel. I would make use of the filters. If you check, "kitchen" that should weed out most of the hotels.
Cmon guys stop bitching about the hotel rates. I get it, im sure they seem like a rip off but if youre freely willing to drop 5k on tournaments and cash for a week, how much extra are you expecting to save? 200 bucks over 7 days? Im looking at different strip hotels around mid June (close to horseshoe) and we're generally talking 80-100 a night plus that God damn resort fee so 140 a night. Paris is pretty expensive but its always on the higher side of the mid tier casinos.
So if it was 30/night cheaper youre saving 200 bucks. Its the fucking WSOP MAN, let's get pumped. Dates will be released soon and I cant wait.
There are a few ways to get the resort fee waived. I stay at MGM properties because MGM has a reciprocity arrangement with Royal Caribbean cruise lines where if you are a Diamond-level guest on RCL, you stay at MGM hotels with no resort fee. Over 5-6 days, that's $300 in savings on the hotel room. Cha-ching! Booked for June 12-18, 2026 and hoping the Seniors goes on June 16.
Does anyone else have any great ways to get resort fees waived without dumping a ton of cash? If you're spending a month or more in Vegas they really add up, especially considering hotel rates in general are way up compared to last year.
I think before you could get diamond status with a rewards credit card and get resorts fees waived that way, but it's my understanding they closed that loophole.
Well if you happen to be a DIAMOND LEVEL member at Wyndham Rewards to Caesars will match that level

. This is NOT via the Wyndham Credit Card but your actual status with Wyndham. If you "buy" the upgraded Commenity /Bread Financial Caesars Rewards VISA Credit Card (regular card is free the UPGRADE costs $149 but does give you a lot of perks and you can also in theory be elevated to Diamond (immediate Platinum status) but you have to CHARGE a LOT of money on the Card to qualify. The details escape me at the moment - Again a lot of benefits but its $149 so it may not work for you. Other than that hitting 10X rewards days and "earning" the status the hard way is about it anymore.
Thanks a lot! That's great info. I am a frequent traveler so the Wyndham method could be doable. The only problem is I'm not a big fan of most of the Wyndham brand hotels. Lol. They have some decent ones but a lot of their hotels tend to be dives. I also might check into the logistics with the credit card method. I got platinum status last year purely by staying at Caesars reso

Like anything that you read on this forum you will pretty quickly figure out who to listen to and who likes to blow hot air. Getting the Diamond card in a cost effective method does require some effort (gone are the blessed Founders Card days ) but at $45 a night resort fees savings and the other perks-$100 free dinner, special check in /out, often a free upgrade of your room, lots of discounted room rates, etc if you spend even two weeks or more at the WSOP it is financially well worth the effort. Room rates and comp nights in particular can be incredibly valuable if you book early and know how to play the Hotel game. Example (warning brag :-) ) I booked a total of 17 nights at the Horseshoe from June 14th thru July 2nd 17 nights in the Hotel (have to leave the property for 2 days) and my TOTAL cost including taxes is only $272 (that INCLUDES the taxes) at the Horseshoe and I barely skate by as the lowest level Diamond possible. To me I am saving at least one buy in to the Senior Event LOL so it makes the effort WELL worthwhile. Oh and as to Wyndham properties - you are absolutely correct - you need to research the individual locations as to ratings but it has been my experience that you are normally fine at almost all the La Quinta, Baymont, and Wyndham named brands.
Best of luck determining what makes sense for you.
Go to a Caesars property somewhere that has a 10x promo in tier credits and play video poker to get DIAD, at 10x multiplier it's just 1500 TCs.
What does that amount to in Coin in? Is it 25$ coin in at VP per credit?
Is this really what Vegas is doing -- chasing the man of modest means away?

This speculation is bogus: "Carrying combined stacks forward. In some GGPoker events, players can enter multiple starting flights and, if they bag more than once, combine those stacks for Day 2."
No way. Take the largest bag forward, don't combine them! That is crazy.
Still no schedule release confirmation that I can see at 9:45 am Arizona time. I still think they keep us waiting until Monday.
Oh well.... I had to commit to some dates due to work and family. Would have liked to seen the schedule, but, whatever. I'll be at Cosmopolitan from June 2nd to the 10th. Hopefully some cool events happening.
Daniel Negreanu posted this video on Twitter an hour ago. Schedule release is Monday the 16th.
That's what I've been saying all along and entirely consistent with last year when it was announced on a Monday

Be ready Friday the 13th my ass!
SUCH BULLSHIT. And very poor acting skills by Daniel.
He's the GG spokesman (part owner?) just doing his job. Cut him some slack.
Drank a lot the Kool-Aid? They don't need him to be a "shill" to create interest. And they don't need the BS theatrics to pretend the guy just walked up to him and surprised him with the announcement.
U mad bro?
Why?
