I actually doubt this is true. I obviously disagree with Luckbox about a great many things, but I suspect he is relatively affable and laid back irl.

Luckbox has terrible ideas and believes a lot of nonsense things and can be stubborn, he tilts me to the moon sometimes. That being said, he’s easily top 5 posters I’d trust to watch my child, a little girl.

I think he’s a good person, he’s just wrong about everything 😃

On the topic of competitive sports. I'm reading once again a bunch of stupid takes. Competitive sports isn't mommy signed me up for soccer. Competitive sports by definition is exclusionary. A very small number of players make the top teams. No, not a lot of kids grew up playing competitive sports. My primary sport was hockey. I stopped playing competitive men's league hockey d

Thanks. I know what competitive sports are and participated in them according to your criteria.

Actually I've long said that males are only good for sports and gambling so maybe there is something to your arguments...not sure if I've internalized the commradery message or not based on that.

I obviously don't know him well enough to judge his honesty or level of responsibility, but like I said, I'd be pretty shocked if he was an incendiary ******* irl.

I guess playing in the little league world series, CAL-I, USCF, and State Championships isn't comparable to his weekend beer league with relegation

If the premise is that competition automatically means being a disagreeable jerk, thats pretty objectively not true.

May I ask what you imagine we have in common other than an interest in politics and playing sports when we were younger?

You could both easily enjoy a good hamburger every once in awhile, or have the same sorts of taste in women or not really understand Rothko. Lots of stuff because you're both Westerners who live in the same continent and speak English. You might not like poutine or hockey but I'm sure we could find a lot.

I think I know him well enough at this point to believe he is both honest and responsible, but I’ve been ingesting Dustin posts for the better part of 20 years now and have paid a reasonable amount of attention to his personal stories. I think he’s an idiot at concepts, but I trust him as a person. I don’t think he has it in him to harm a fly. Also, he’s vouched for via mutuals.

WHAT kind of HAMBURGER are we talking about here?

what is rothko?

Agreed, but by that criteria, I probably have a lot in common with most Americans who post here. I thought you were suggesting something more than that.

This sounds fancy

what hamburger do we all have in common?

is it wendys or mcdonalds or burger king, or sonic

The way he acts like people don't know the difference between competitive and rec leagues, while touting his experience in a rec league, is annoying but weirdly par for the course.

I read all the posts. whatthejish seems to have been using a different definition of competitive sports than you. Everyone else was just commenting it means to play a competitive sport and what you are supposed to get out of it. And I didn't really disagree with those people, regardless of whether they played sports at any level.

Deliberately or as a consequence of his irresponsibility?

Deliberately or as a consequence of his irresponsibility

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lb behave maliciously.

I wasn't talking about playing kiddie soccer where you're assigned to a random team sponsored by a local business.

I wouldn’t trust Luckbox to not let his dog run into a street, why would I trust him with a child? You guys have low standards.

Malicious is not quite the same as being irresponsible. idk, seems like when he's texting & driving, going to work with COVID, or letting his dogs run loose in public there's good chance of someone being injured via his foolishness.

Have to hope he leaves his phone at home when he drives CN's kid somewhere for her, and doesn't radiate covid virus everywhere either.

Thank you

Did the most recent posts from whatjish (2) and and coordi make sense given what I've posted? Could you lead by example and respond to them for me?

When you're done maybe you could take a moment to contemplate how boring, simple, and dishonest this tangent is. Now magnify this by a thousand and add in a tsunami of insults on most topics

Poor you.

Ironically, you see competitive people act like this in the corporate structure after they lash out and summarily get smack back into reality too.

Doesn't bode well for your thesis that you are now playing the victim card because you lost. Maybe that only happens at the tippy toppest tiered beer rec leagues
