I'm going with yes. There are a lot of nearby worlds in which you got shot 1+ times and in enough of those you die. Also lucky to be in a world where they all missed

'Possibly" and 'almost' have different meanings though

only compatible with let's just say a really special man. Like bobtheslob, who's in the emotional state of a 11 year old

Says the guy who never had sex in his entire life without paying for it. But your emotional outbursts about leftists, refugees and immigrants are highly entertaining. Are you one of Trump's bastards?

I am highly disagreeable. I certainly don't have any problem confronting a person or situation when I feel it's warranted. Also grew up playing competitive sports and being highly competitive.

I also grew up playing competive sports and I would say that I am fairly competitive as well. But it didn't turn me into you, or at least I hope it didn't.

Also what drove me to poker and the site. I think its related

I'm sure that everyone here played a fair bit of poker, including the people you despise. That's how we ended up here.

Do you think that actually formulating arguments here is an indication someone is more disagreeable than others just spamming emotion based anger and hatred in response?

No. But that doesn't mean that I believe you do more of the former than the latter. Of all the people here, you seem among the angriest and certainly among the most hateful.

Submitted without comment.

You didn't even catch everything.

I'd give it a 99% chance you wouldn't even be bothered by me irl. I'd mostly not care about your soy politics and not engage. I also think your loud mouth 2p2 persona would instantly wilt in to nervous muttering irl

d2 spent a year or two in prison. I'm quite sure that he is more adept at dealing with hard cases than you.

Sounds like you completely didn't get what playing competitive sports was supposed to teach you.

It’s weird that he acts like it’s some kind of outlier. Who didn’t grow up playing competitive sports? That’s pretty much the norm in USA.

I doubt the lessons of sports is that everyone is supposed to get along and sing kumbaya at the end of a game or match. You and Juan probably do have a lot of common fwiw.

Actually - respect for one's peers is one of (team) sports primary lessons.

Actually, that is kinda the whole point.

Luckbox was definitely the dickhead who refused to shake hands at the end of games.

Yeah. I don't think you have to be a ******* in order to be competitive.

May I ask what you imagine we have in common other than an interest in politics and playing sports when we were younger?

I've been a top level competitor at chess, baseball, wrestling, counterstrike, and poker during my life and the point of competitive sports is to see the fruits of labor, develop social skills, and have fun.

Its basically a microcosm of the corporate structure unless you are one of the .0001% who go pro

Nah luckbox was the guy who was picked last every time and is now salty about it

I actually doubt this is true. I obviously disagree with Luckbox about a great many things, but I suspect he is relatively affable and laid back irl.

I've always liked him. Nice guy.

Agreed. It's enjoyable to put a lot of effort into something and see how good you can get at that thing. And experiencing success on a team is a lot of fun.

Unless he has his mutt with him.

Direct confrontation is a pretty reliable way to catch a beating (or worse) in that environment for someone like me, so that's not really my M.O.

Of course. I wasn't implying that you were a tough guy or confrontational. I merely was suggesting that you probably didn't turn into a pile of quivering jelly when in the presence of such people.

Lol thinking this in light of me formulating actual points and arguments in contrast to the endless stream of empty and emotive insults.

Your response to my post about the shooting is to critically assess me as the worst person irl in certain aspects and then post about it. Have a look in the mirror bud. Maybe scroll back a couple pages and take a second look at who said what. The US is roughly 50/50 on the shooting in my estimation. My views represent a moderate perspective of the other side. That's reality. Reread if you've become deluded.

I respond to a tiny fraction of the empty insults. I sound more mean and confrontational because I'm responding to a tsunami of stupidity that rarely even contains an actual argument and a bunch of emotive insults

I suspect you have absolutely no clue what it's like to have a mob of people habitually interacting with your posts in a dishonest manner and a steady stream of empty insults. Even if you think you could put yourself in anothers shoes, i doubt it. If it was and you didn't just get run out of here like many other posters with obama/Clinton type politics rebranded as far right the rabid here? I know that wouldn't happen because you're not awful. Or perhaps you just don't represent the wrong 50% (on the moderate side). Bubutbut wan you could respond the the mob of dolts better. Lol yeah but that would be boring and not standing up for myself and dishing it back would feel pathetic

Ask someone like rickroll who participated in BFI or poker regs threads. I was a regular there before politics. Was I mean to everyone? In fights? Hostile? Etc? No. You're know who was also a regular there? Toothsayer, who was also constantly in fights and insulting someone

On the topic of competitive sports. I'm reading once again a bunch of stupid takes. Competitive sports isn't mommy signed me up for soccer. Competitive sports by definition is exclusionary. A very small number of players make the top teams. No, not a lot of kids grew up playing competitive sports. My primary sport was hockey. I stopped playing competitive men's league hockey during covid (for fun but still highly competitive. Losing teams get demoted etc). I was the team captain for most of my youth

I know the usual beta dork are going to try to twist this in to some sort of brag. But this is all to point out how bad your read is and maybe actually question your perception

This forum has a long history of rabid leftism by poster count and moderation. They mob, attack, and insult anyone opposed to them. They barely even bother to argue the points. This isn't even remotely close to bill Maher left. Obama etc. Your response is to jump on me and join the mob in your special way

I have a track record of completely different reputation on this site outside the rabid politics. I have the life experience of not getting political or heated irl in politics or in general.

If you see my moderate takes on the shooting and see for the millionth time rabid dolts spamming how I'm an incel, feel sorry for my family, human garbage, nazi, etc and think to yourself I should pile on in my own special way and excuse the others, maybe you're not the thoughtful measured person you pretend to be.

tl;dr: "I'm not like this in 'real life.' Please stop being mean to me."
