His arms were in the car and he walked with the car up a curb (ICE vehicles were blocking the street) into the grass until a tree was in the way and he had to stop after 150 feet (the distance gets longer and longer each time the story is told) and dude had to get 33 stitches.

Reading about how it was the only choice for the cop and what else was he supposed to do, I find it very surprising that anyone can think that to stop the car (and at the same time avoiding it) , the best way is to shoot the driver.
As demonstrated in the video (and countless other shootings), the bullet didn’t actually stopped the car instantly.
Which much have come to a shock to the offficer and any physics enthusiasts.
Hopefully in the futur they have stronger and much larger and beautifull bullets that will stop a moving car in an instant.
