You're not my first caller to say fire Stephanie White. It seems that is an impossibility though as she's considered american royalty in the wnba. The fever feel like it would be like firing Michael jordan from playing basketball.

Caitlin to Portland would be music to my ears even though they may be the worst team in the league. But have potential. Most callers say free Caitlin and anywhere else would be good. I'm also told from listeners they prefer the american oldies over the new wave french sound. Especially the one's who played for coach White before. She has favorites that she loves to bring in for one last dance. I'm told she cried recently because her 3rd string point guard put up 5 points against the mercury. 5 very memorable points for coach White. Anybody like Caitlin can put up 32 points and 10 assists and not get mentioned when she only mentioned Boston scoring 34 points on Caitlin's assists. Not even a mention of Caitlin? Hmmmm. Kinda strange isn't it? I'm referring to in the locker room after games coach White always calls out the players who had great games and then the team all claps to give them their flowers. Caitlin got no mention for 32 points and 10 assists.

I'm a Lynx fan, I'd snap shut down a Miles of Clark straight up trade.

Miles is super cheap for at least 2 more years, though likely to make All-WNBA this year and 4th year is expensive.

Clark is expensive next year.

Just that alone makes Miles a substantially more valuable asset even if you think Clark is better. So next year it would be Miles + Natasha Howard or just Clark ... that's a no brainer.

Miles has shown defensive effort and improvement, and isn't being relentlessly attacked on D like Clark.

Phee is back at practice and once she's back in the lineup Miles is going to absolutely smoke everyone.

I figured i'd hear from you on this one as you seem to be a big Olivia Miles and Lynx fan. I don't blame you but you have to admit it's a little crazy to not take Caitlin Clark on a 1 for 1 trade. Miles has serious potential but we're talking about Caitlin Clark.

I like watching Miles play though and is my 2nd favortite player to watch. And Courtney Williams i like. Minnesota is my favortie team to root for. You would think the Fever but i don't like how they are treating Cinderella. If they give the keys to Cinderella i'd be more a Fever fan.

Why would Caitlin only get 1.25M? Boston got 1.5M for 4 years. Is she better? If that happened it would only be Caitlin taking less to better the team. Mitchell might be getting 1.25M right now right? Not gonna check but i think she's in that range. Btw all the 1M+ a year contracts are directly responsible to Caitlin Clark putting the wnba on the map.

But i hear what your saying that more money is available for other players. That's why Mitchell should be traded for a big. The big defintely is getting payed less already no matter who it would be. Unless it's Aja and we know that ain't happening.

Also they can always figure out money later. But to have Caitlin Clark, Napheesa Collier, Courtney Willaims, and Kayla Mcbride as your 3 point specialist. And have possibly the best coach in the league? That would be a really good team. Olivia i think will be great as well. But you only get one chance at Caitlin Clark. You should take it if given the opportunity.

From ESPN, the 3 years after the rookie deal are at the super max rate 20% of the cap which goes up a little each year.

I don't have the exact max eligible for next year but it's 17% of the cap for next year, 20% going forward for Clark she can sign a similar deal Boston did, just a slightly higher total.

So Indy is looking at having an extra 500k for Boston, 500-750k for Clark next year, they are going to really be hurting. Throw in 1.6M of horrid contracts on top of that, you have 6/7 seed written all over it. It's not a Championship set up, they are probably more likely to miss the playoffs next year than win the title(maybe even win a single playoff series)

It's not total doom and gloom, they did force 27 turnovers. Angel taking 15 fga isn't good, she needs to get 8fta to not be a clear negative on offense.

Okot has shown signs of being solid, just need to give her 15mins and roll with the results.

okot was crushing off the bench, and I was thinking she should be starting. what's her name got injured and okot got the start. she was underwhelming. some players just aren't ready to be starters.

if it was me though, i'd still start okot and hope she overcomes the pressure of being a starter. she looked really solid off the bench, and they need a center.
