New narrative... Poor innocent Alyssa Thomas did nothing wrong. She was just a great player making a basketabll play and incidental contact. Now the bad power lady Caitlin Clark has demaded the wnba to suspend her. It's so unfair how the league cow tows to the over-rated number 1 draft pick bust Caitlin Clark. Thomas should be awarded the nobel peace prize. Caitlin's power has bullied poor little Alyssa Thomas. It's so unfair... Crying emjois forever!!!!!!!!!! Still not sure if Caitlin is actually hurt or is this a 1 game suspension for Caitlin for walking off to the locker room. We'll never know. The mysteries of the Indiana Fever. Also the play that injured Caitlin most likely, if it wasn't Thomas, if she's injured and not a suspension, was the phoenix defender not allowing Caitlin a landing space where caitlin landed on her foot. This has happend either back to back game, or 2 out of 3 games, that opponents don't allow her a landing space which is an easy way to injure a player. It's supposed to be a flagrant 1 foul but both times the refs didn't award the flagrant. They reviewed this last one. To give Caitlin the extra free throw and possesion? No they reviewed it for a hostile act on Caitlin because the defender flopped and acted like Caitlin's punched her in the face on the follow through lol. .They took a long time and said Caitlin didn't commit a hostile act. Phew. But no flagrat on the defender?
probably no one cares, but I got a lot out of reading this 12 minute article about African names in the WNBA.

Atlanta playing their starters 35+, Howard 38 minutes in a road b2b where they were down 10+ most of the game is crazy stupid coaching. Bri Jones could move the needle some but they look like a fake contender.

Fell asleep during the second half of the Fever-Sparks game last night, Fever fans have to be thrilled with the performance of Ty Harris in her first start, she looked very solid. She's no Caitlin Clarke, but having another ball handler to take the load off Kelsey is huge, Raven's not ready for 40 minutes a night.
Also, Makayla Timpson freed the braids and unveiled a glorious afro. Stunning!

The Storm are an exciting young team with Awa Fam and Molanga as the main stars.
The Sun won against the Tempo but Mabry was a last minute scratch. But the Mercury have been playing better. Nothing like a good team bonding over their dislike of Caitlin Clark. They really stood up for their innocent bullied teammate Alyssa Thomas!
Ty did a good job filling in. Everyone played well in that game. Timpson is a little inexperienced but she's big and athletic. She looks like she can be a good player in the league after she gets more experience.
Raven i like her but everytime i see Okat play it irks me the Fever didn't draft Okat instead of Raven. Nothing against Raven it's just Okat looks like she's gonna be real good. And that's the big the fever needed.

Yeah they were sloppy both half's at times. Luckily in the 1st half McBride got hot hitting 4 3's. And that Dallas missed alot of 3's. 2nd half they built their 16 point lead up to 25 i think it was. Then they got sloppy again allowing Dallas to cut it to 4 i think was as close as they got. Fudd got hot in the 2nd half. Miles was sloppy at times turning it over 5 times which some of them gave fast break points to Dallas. Being the primary ballhandler more turnovers naturally happen. She seems little out of control at times though. But she had a good game finishing strong making some nice passes. She's got a very quick step which allows her to blow by her defender fairly consistently.
Fam and Malonga are 20, aka college soph/juniors, I don't think they'll be ready next year but 2 years from now it could be an unstoppable front-court.
The CBA lets rookies get paid big year 4 if they make an all-wnba team in those first 3 years, it can really shrink a teams window. Boston this year, Clark next, Paige the following, Malonga might make a team too and shrink that cheap contract window.
If Reese makes one this year Atlanta probably can't pay her next year. I'm not 100% sure how the 4th year works but she would be eligible for the ~1.2 instead of ~500k , and if Atlanta doesn't offer I think she can go somewhere else to get the $.

wow valks in last 3 games, beat atlanta twice and the liberty. Valhalla is a tough place to come in and play.
