Olivia Miles and Paige had words in their game. Maybe a rivalry brewing there.

Paige seems too kind to have much of a heated rivalry with anyone.

I only watched the first half but it seemed like Olivia was just in a bad mood. Picked up a silly technical for barking at the referees.

Yeah i would think the same usually. As she's competitive but usually stays out of that sorta thing. I was watching the game live but didn't see it when it happned. But the announcers showed a quick glimpse of the replay of it. Don't know what started it but it looked like Miles was walking and talking towards Paige while Paige was walking away. Then Paige stopped and turned around and said...Don't know she said this.. but looked like Paige said something like... paraphrasing but more just speculating.... what are you gonna do? At least that's what her body language seemed like. There were some players in between them to make sure it didn't go further.

Olivia Miles seems to not care that she's a rookie she gonna trash talk everyone. Which is fun. I wonder what it will be like when Miles plays Caitlin. If Caitlin will be healthy and play. Knock on wood!

I think she picked up the technical at the end of the 3rd quarter. She turned to the ref and said something fast and angrily. She was barking at the refs the whole game as she seemed in a bad mood like you said. She threw a couple turnovers in the first half that led to fast break scores for Dallas, both times she reacted like she got fouled and they didn't call it. This may have led her to being in a bad mood. She later did the strong clapping that Paige and Caitlin got technicals for. Luckily the refs didn't call a 2nd as we don't want to see the stars get thrown out of the game. She egged the crowd on too after she took a hard foul going to the hoop. She plays with alot of fire and passion, kinda like Caitlin, which is fun to watch.

Watching some of yesterday's game since there aren't any games tonight and they look very solid, though terrible shooting by the Libs was a factor.

i didn't see the game. but i saw the two atlanta games. crowd is crazy! pretty fun atmosphere to play in.

tbh atlanta was off too. still though 3-0 vs libs and dream is impressive, even if both teams weren't at their best.

I always liked Courtney Williams.Yes because of her game. She plays hard and i always liked her mid-range jumper. I also liked that she's very humble and honest about her game, and just honest in general. Her energy is good and honest which makes her likeable. She's a very good player but she knows she's not one of the "greats." And she isn't caring about her own ego taking a hit in admitting it. For example when Miles got on the team even preseason Courtney was praising Miles(just like coach Reeves was) saying she's the one essentially. Kinda like it's your team, take the keys and go! I'm behind you! I'm sure she still respects Napheesa as the leader and great too. Just letting Miles know i'm not getting in your way. You do you becasue you got it!

Ok the reason i bring this up is C. Williams said recently when she got interviewed talking about Miles, paraphrasing but close...."She's the rawest rookie i ever seen in my life, and i'm not even joking." Rawest meaning like we never seen a rookie talent like this and playing this well so fast. Don't mean to speak for what she meant but pretty sure that's what she was saying. Then she caught herself and said paraphrasing again... "I ain't gonna lie Caitlin Clark rawest too" then continued saying i know Miles game more becasue i play with her every day. But Caitlin Clark is cold bro(meaning she's unreal great). I don't get to see her(Caitlin) game everyday but from seeing what she does on tv, and when i've played against her, and i'm like yeah, she's cold! Like anytime someone asks me about her(Caitlin) and say is she really that good? And i'm like yeah bro, she good bro, she cold for real!

It's so refreshing hearing another player in the league, except for Caitlin's current teammates, essentially saying Caitlin is great. Courtney Willaims is a honest person and doesn't play the hate game narrative that Caitlin isn't that good. Might be a couple other players over the years but not much. Paige may have said somehting nice a year or 2 ago possibly. But this is the 1st player since this narrative started this year again to speak out against the narrative that she isn't all that.

I always liked Courtney. But now she's my 2nd favortie player! And not just becasue she said Caitlin's great essentially. But Just that she keeps it real no matter what, and doesn't just folllow along with the negative and dishonest narrative's that are spread. She just says it like it is!

Btw notice that Courtney's first words when speaking about Caitlin is...."I'm not gonna lie." Interesting to start with that when speaking about a player. Usually they would just say so and so player is great too. The "not gonna lie" imo shows that she's aware of the negative campaign to lie about Caitlin's game to make it seem like Caitlin's not that good. But Courtney is too honest, and a good person, that she always has to keep it real no matter what!

She had a gnarly ankle landing in the sky game, she did come back out but I could see her taking a week or so rest. Only 2 games in 8 days to start July.

Reporters- why can't they ask a direct question to Stephanie White on anything Caitlin Clark? It's always seems like they don't want to ask directly about what happend that game when Caitlin walked off to the locker room? Was she injured? Did she walk off because she was mad she was benched, yet again, for Raven in the lineup? Did you both get into another argument and maybe you decided she was done for the night and sent her to the locker room? Nobody asks these simple and obvious questions. So we have to play these games over and over while never really knowing what's going on?

Stephanie White- Everytime asked a question about Caitlin she gives an answer less than 10 seconds saying paraphrasing...she's doing good, She's doing individual workouts. That's it???? The best player in the world walked off to the locker room and hasn't said a word about it, and all we get is she's doing individual workouts? Will she play sunday vs the Aces? Is there a chance she could play? Is she seriously hurt and this is a long term situation? Or is it precautionary she didn't play the last game? And if she doesn't play sunday is that precautionary as well? We get nothing. WHERE IS CAITLIN????? IS SHE STILL A PART OF THE TEAM???? IS SHE SITTING OUT BECAUSE OF YOU SUSPENDING HER LONG TERM BECAUSE OF WHATEVER HAPPEENED THAT DAY WHEN SHE WALKED OFF???? Sophie Cunningham- she hints when asked about the team that there is team turmoil. Turmoil may(maybe) be harsh in the hint. But was more she was saying the team needs more bonding. She said the team needs a night out together to bond more. So who's the players not bonding well? We can only speculate, so i will. Is this a are you team Caitlin being the leader/ball handler/superstar of the team? Or are you team Kelsey Mitchell being that? Or it could be are you team Caitlin or team White? Both could be true as well. But White seems to favor Mitchell more. So the team Mitchell or team White optiions seem similar.

Kelsey Mitchell- interviewed recently and was all smiles talking about Ty Harris as her point guard. Maybe she's just showing support for her teammate and not showing, or throwing shade, on Caitlin. But one of the first things she said when asked about Ty Harris was that she brings good chemistry. It maybe does sound like shade on Caitlin a little doesn't it? She could have said Harris didn't mess up the chemistry we've already had when Caitlin played. But she chose to make it sound like this is a new refreshing chemistry that Harris brings. I'm not against Mitchell but it sounds like there could be a rift in the team over who the leader and superstar of the team is. I don't totally blame her for wanting to be the number 1 on a team. She's a good enough player to be a number 1 on lesser teams with no superstars. Just not this team while Caitlin Clark is there.

Caitlin Clark- WHY WON'T YOU SPEAK????????? You leave evryone in the dark to speculate. Then in previous times you speak way later to make some simple comments like you did last time. Will you again say nothing to see here, you guys read too much into things and make stuff up? Have some respect for your fans and tell them what's going on? Your fans have always had your back but sometimes it has seemed like you don't have their backs? Only time it seems you show you got their backs is when you raise your hands to pump up the crowd. Kinda like saying thank you to the fans for their support, that you appreciate it.

If Caitlin doesn't play sunday then something serious might be going on imo. Either she may be seriously injured, or could maybe it be that either Caitlin has asked out of the team? Or maybe White has suspended her indefinitely?

I love the new narrative about the throat to fist situation. They allegedly claiming if we didn't see it did it really happen? They allegedly are saying many people including the refs and players didn't see what happened in real time. That it's only seen when slown down and freeze-framed. So it looks bad in slow motion and freeze-framed but if most people didn't see it in real time how bad could it be? Firstoff the announcer spotted it immediately and showed the replay showing this wasn't good. Later many fans in the stands said they saw it. But it's irrelevant as we have replay so we saw what happened. So who cares whether we saw it in real time or not? Such a ridiculous argument.

Trade Caitlin to the tempo for Mabry and whatever else the Fever want. Caitlin and coach Sandy would make history! Not to mention that 53 point record would be gone in the 1st week as Sandy would give Caitlin the keys! And given the current Tempo situation as Mabry is the only person counted on to score, Caitlin might like that spot! She'd still get her assists and not be selfish, but she wouldn't have to feel selfish whenever she wanted to go off and score a bunch. Caitlin would be free to be Caitlin. Then wnba watch out because the goat would be coming!!!!!!!

So what's up with the Indiana Fever hating Euros? Every other successful team in the league is loaded with Euros. The New York Liberty are practically the French national team in pride-adjacent Brooklyn uniforms. IS IT BECAUSE STEPHANIE WHITE HATES EUROS? They should fire her and trade Caitlin Clarke to Portland for some Euros. Or if they can't get any Euros maybe they can trade her to Seattle and get some Aussies like Jade Melbourne instead.
