February was an absolutely brutal month and the suckouts just wouldn’t stop. When you compare it to January when there were barely any suckouts you can clearly see how much they impact the results. Just in spots where a whale sucked out with a garbage hand against my best hands I lost close to $300. That’s about 30 buy ins purely from straight up suckouts when holding the best hand. That hits anyone’s bankroll hard.
32 suckouts where I had 65 to 90 percent equity.
1x 90%+ equity suckout
9x 80-90% equity suckout
14x 70-80% equity suckout
8x 65-70% equity suckout
Last month I also ran into an unusually high number of loose reraisers who surprisingly always seemed to show up with a strong hand whenever I pushed back hard against them. And multiple times after completely outplaying a whale they still managed to spike some unbelievable runouts on the river.
The battle continues and hopefully this month comes with fewer suckouts.

I watched this weird ass documentary, or as much as I could stomach of it, about gay dudes in the UK who purposely seek out HIV+ men to have sex with in hopes of getting the disease themselves. No ****ing clue why they want it but to each their own or whatever. Weirdest **** I've ever seen. Among the people in it was a 53 year old man who agreed to an interview about the topic, and his response was "Listen, I'm 53 years old. I'm at the point now in my life where I'm just going to do the things I want to do". And I guess the thing he wants to do is to get AIDS and die.
Anyway I turned it off at that point because I could not stomach any more of guys just talking about how they want to get aids.

Massive stack sizes. First you build your stack with huge outplays targeting one big whale on table. You and whale have both stacks like 150 dollars. Then you wait premium hand just to get suckouted or running aces with kings. That exact scenario happened last month.

Nice to see you reply to posts, I am genuinely curious what a typical day playing poker looks like for you? How many hours do you play per day and do you play every day? Do you play a set session of a certain time or play for a while then do something else for an hour or two and then play again?
