Winners don't quit bro.

What was your life like before you ever played a hand of poker? Go into as much detail as possible. What was your job? What was your family like? What were your hobbies and interests? And any other information you'd be willing to share with us.

Some of us are genuinely curious about these things.

2025 year graph pls

I found it posted elsewhere:

2025 in Review

^ doubt he ended the year in black.

2025 Year In Numbers

The year is wrapped up and the long awaited moment is here. Time to reveal last year's losses. Month after month I was sitting at the same tables with the worst whales in online poker. Roughly 236k hands in total. My main cash game site was still 888 and alongside it I added Daniel Negreanu's pyramid scheme site gg. I wanted a second site mainly to see how much suckouts would happen on a platform where I haven't played so much.

The defining theme of the year was running under ev for the entire year. On 888 I ended up about 30 buy ins under ev and on gg almost the same around 28 buy ins under ev. Just running to suckouts cost me roughly $600. Pretty wild numbers especially considering how small bankrolls are often recommended for these games. With this kind of whale suckout fest your roll gets wiped out surprisingly fast.

As for the game quality it has to be said that the whales are actually worse than during poker's golden years. A lot of people keep claiming that the overall level has gone up because of solvers and other tools but that couldn't be further from the truth. My screen is constantly lighting up green and my hand starts to ache from tagging whales session after session. The tighter players on the other hand is easy to push out of pots with massive bluffs. Almost all of the upswings in the graphs were earned with flop check shoves and massive river bluffs.

If I remember correctly there was maybe one winning month last year. So if we're setting goals for this year the first one is simply a winning month and then more of them. For now the main stake nl10 and I'm not moving up. If anything happens with stakes it will be going down.

A lot of experienced big-winning players haven't played poker in years. Many also said that Paisting wouldn't be playing for many years either and I'm still here. Driven purely by my own ambition I've shown that the real punishers keep showing up year after year. The punishment of the whales has already begun this year.

Let keep up hard grind in 2026!

888 -$5814.49
GG -$1252.51

Total loss -$7067

Great post from Paistings. He is running bad ... 800 buy ins lost due to rake.

If what happens? Maybe like losing almost 600 buy ins?
What I just cant get over my head is how after that graph you are the one punishing other players in your mind. Wouldnt you be happier if you did something else with your life?

Best of luck for 2026 Paisting and GL to everyone ITT at the tables this year.

Where do you get the money to keep playing? Is someone staking you to keep this thread going? GL in 2026.

It doesn't matter whether you ran to EV or below EV. Either way, you were still making losing plays and torching money.

The best goal you could set (from a financial and personal wellbeing perspective) is to never play a hand of Poker again. Or if you have to, for play money.

I know the above will fall on deaf ears so gl whatever you decide.

paisting you could literally be 60 buy ins ABOVE your EV line and youd still have lost money ffs. Just stop dude. How can you not see this rather than ranting about "suckouts". You can remove every single suckout you had and still losing money. Why continue. Stop, buy nice things for your home, eat well, go out, see friends.

We can also see from his graphs that whenever he starts to open shove, he runs under all-in ev. Then he starts to complain about under ev running but cannot connect the dots.

We can also see from his graphs that whenever he starts to open shove, he runs under all-in ev.

Now you mention this, there is a lot less of it compared to the older graphs.
Perhaps moving up to 10nl made him shove less. At nl2 he was literally open shoving atc 4 tabling for at least half an our on a regular basis. There is definitely less of it last year.

^ He definitely made some adjustments when he moved to NL10. At NL2 if somebody was opening "too much" from the button, his blind defence strategy was to start open shoving on all tables. Unfortunately at NL10 he cannot afford to use this original paisting strategy anymore. On some months he would lose a 1000 buy-ins, which would be $10 000 at NL10.

Paisting is rock sollid. Rake is eating up his winnings. Just to high rake at micros ..

Hey Paisty, don't play a single hand of poker in 2026, buy a nice sauna at the end of the year and come back in 2027.
Best advice.

Let it go, guys, Paisting is an addicted gambler with tilt-issues, so no use for advice.....and actually also no use for some of the more salty comments. For everyone liking bad-graph-porn, this is the thread to follow. Else there's nothing to see ;-)

He could have a bankroll of 1 million and still go bankrupt. Paisting isn't just the worst poker player, he's also a liar who doesn't understand the basics of poker and probability.

If you consider that all his money lost is from what he receives from the government, he has effectively over the past 20+ years lost like ~$250,000 of his "bankroll" at $10nl and lower.

I think he paid 250k Rake. He is putting in volume, they are raking you to death on micros. You have to play 50 100 to get decent rake ratio.

Thus why its so important to punish those whales

haha he is delusional and himself the whale on the table, thats for sure. Also he is using government money to fuel his addiction x)
