I just got to the dog park with my German Shepherd and a little **** ass dog bit my sweet baby before we could even get into the park.

The dog had its fur up and was PROTECTING the park from my dog. I know dog body language. Wrong dog for the park.

There may have been some loud yelling. They took their stupid aggressive dog away. I have a dog I don't bring here because I don't trust him 100%

It's super nice and relaxing here now that I've ****ing exploded with rage.

I reject the idea that words in the dictionary can become the de facto exclusive property of certain individuals or groups.

And I was quoting verbatim the lyric video from the rap group singing their song.

The word isn’t the exclusive property of a group at all, which shows how much you’re misunderstanding this.

Words often have connotations derived from their historic usage and the people who used them. The n word said by a white person isn’t going to escape the association with historical racism no matter how edgy or clever they think they’re being, but takes on a new dimension if said by a black person.

Assuming the above, what is wrong with me quoting verbatim black rappers using the word in their yootoob video (which includes a white audience of course). Apparently the word isn't in itself the problem; it's the fact I (a white guy) was quoting it.

Fun Factoid: My tempban was for 'evading the n-word filter' which is unintentionally hysterical because I wasn't even doing that since like I said above I was literally quoting verbatim from the lyric video.

You keep saying you were quoting a song, but you didn’t even use quotation marks in the original post. I knew you were quoting lyrics, but you can’t expect everyone to realize that. Your act of playing dumb on this is stupid.

Ultimately, you shouldn’t have quoted the song at all. You specifically chose to post the word because you wanted some kind of reaction. It’s not like you NEEDED to post it, but you purposely wanted to get spicy under the pretense of a “reasonable” excuse. If you so desperately had to reference this lyric, you could have just posted a video of the track. There’s no defense here, geezer. You knew what you were doing, and your continued plea of innocence is embarrassing and insults the intelligence of everyone here.

There are 470,000 words in the dictionary. How about you learn to use all the others properly first and then we can see if you can use this one?

I had quote marks in the original post. But even if I hadn't had quote marks, I footnoted the source of the quote. I doubt any reader of this forum would think I made up that lyric on my own. I'm not that 'creative.'

THIS I agree with. 95%+ of rap music is disgusting and filthy, so I agree I was wrong to reference that kind of music at all, let alone that particular one.

I sometimes like to be provocative. Note well my 'controversial' post was a response to LandOLakes who several times in responses to my posts has used the phrase that is the title of the song I referenced.

Of course I knew what I was doing.

I just can't believe someone would have their whole day ruined by reading a bad word on the internet, and then unironically announce it to the whole forum. I don't think reading a bad word on the internet cracks the top 947,465 things that have the potential to ruin my day (and 947,464 of those also involve lagtight).
