FWIW i have eaten at GR Steak couple of times myself,been a let down both times. Overpriced+medium quality,probably as expected from an insanely famous chef as Gordon.

Place like SW Steakhouse at the Wynn absolutely murder it,their A5 Wagu main there is best steak ive had in Vegas ever. Vic and Anthonys at Golden Nugget also was top stuff a few years back,the memories man.

They wouldn't have even looked at the steaks on that menu. Their game plan was ordering an appetizer and 2 "entrees" that came to just under the $100 dining credit they had to use. The Troopers really are the last of the big spenders in Vegas. And this was them with a comped meal, how miserable would it be when they have to order stuff that they are actually paying for.

Really hopes someone in the poker community can reach out to Casino Nomad. If they can collab and get him to to at least break even at poker vs other games it would draw in a new audience to poker that normally plays casino games.

There is tons of great food in Vegas. If you don't want to get ripped off get off the strip. If you don't want medicore at best food avoid overpriced celebrity chef garbage.

Yup. I did the Hells Kitchen in Vegas and the GR restaurant at Caesar’s in Atlantic City. Neither were that great. Definitely overpriced for what the food was.

They are part of the Wack Pack. I think so called by us bc, as you've noticed, they are wack. They provide us with endless comedy. There used to be another couple members, Bikeking19 and Thinkblue Poker, but they stopped poker vlogging bc Vegas bottom-stakes poker chewed them up and spit them out.

I'm guessing that he had bad incidents while being drunk, to include that long scar on his cheek(that must've been bad-looking when he got it), realized he's an alcoholic and quit drinking, but who knows.

The high-end fish sticks did look pretty good but were still fish sticks. Wings, no matter how good, are poor-man's food (no offense to the poor). But basically they ate the same kind of thing they eat at their usual haunts. Brisket sandwiches at GR are indeed a cut above the ones at Bucees from their recent road trip.

I originally said casino nomad could be a member of the wack pack when he came on the scene except he was gainfully employed at a remote corporate job. However, it appears in later vlogs that his job is a Rice-like exaggeration and his looney crap obsession certainly gives him membership status

I think if it was from a non-alcohol incident, he would've answered the early numerous vlog questions about it, but he always ignored those questions about his scar, like if it was something he didn't want to revisit.
