The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic fa
Yes although in both instances it's been because the drivers are acting like idiots. There have likely been 50 or so cars between these incidents that have passed by just fine. All they have to do is not drive their vehicles into snow filled ditches and they'll be fine.
Forcing 4% of the cars you see into the ditch is not something I would bring up.

Yeah, its the guys going out of their way to avoid your off leash dogs that are acting like idiots

Sounds like you were doing an antisemitism. I'll bet this made the ADL list.
Yesterday walking the dogs dog is in the middle of the road and guy driving a work van instead of just driving slowly but staying on the road decides to go off onto the shoulder to pass which you can't do here because what looks like it might be level with the road could actually be a two foot deep trench filled with snow, which in this case it was. And he's like "gotta keep yo
This is the guy that two separate people said they would voluntarily let watch their child. I wouldn’t let him watch my pet rock.
The other set of people who did it was the best looking Mexican family you'll ever meet who were just renting a place up here for a couple weeks of skiing and they were from Alabama, so they just didn't know you just can't drive your vehicle into a ditch even it's a Jeep Wagoner.
Lol
hebrew/russian is commonly mistaken because about 20% of israelis are fluent in russian
so people will hear someone they know to be israeli talking on the phone in russian, assume it is hebrew and then forever in their mind when they hear that pitter patter it's identified as hebrew
it's actually a pretty common question for me at the poker tables when i hear a russian accent for me to ask if they are russian or israeli

Right, and I would say that those people who mistake the two simply have bad ears for language.
Russian is a palatal language with very forward phonetics, and Hebrew is a gutteral language with distinct uvular fricatives that are extremely prevalent and do not exist in Russian. I have fancy education in this and I routinely perform in both languages. They are nothing alike.
Please don’t mansplain to me the thing I’ve been doing professionally my entire life.
Yeah I think Cross is correct. Like I said I knew it was Hebrew but I didn't want to be like "so you're speaking Hebrew eh?" so I added in the Russian to make it like I wasn't sure.
Honestly, pretty brave to approach the guy.
Because he asked how I knew I told him I had lots of experience with Israelis but we didn't get into his politics or what his job was in the military. He said he'd been in the US for three years and I was shocked at how good his English is which is completely unaccented and he said his mom is American.
Damn, you are lucky he didn't kill your dog, your kids, and burn down the forest.

wtf? you expressed confusion over how he could be confused on that, i pointed out why they are commonly confused
there needs to be a category of splaining for when someone perceives they are being mansplained and start counter mansplaining for no reason
most people would rather you kill their dog than their kid, though neither is preferable.
I mean again these are dirt mountain roads that have a 25 mph speed limit. At the time yesterday I was at over 11,000 ft above sea level. Maybe you think life is just in the suburbs or urban areas but it's not.

I know you’re capable of understanding what a deranged douchebag you are because you specifically posted the story hoping it would rile people up. The only thing I’m pointing out is the derangement of the people that stood up for you as if you’re trustworthy with anything but inanimate objects (which is debatable).
