If the carotid artery was the actual target, that is a sniper level shot from that distance. Everything I’ve learned about sniper school has been against my will (thanks dad) but if you were trained at Ft Benning you can take that shot consistently.

It’s just that I don’t think the neck was the target. So now it’s a question of what they were aiming at, the head or the body? An amateur shoots for the body.

It only matters for the purpose of speculating about the person's background. The person inevitably will be caught, and after he is, his background will be whatever it is and the speculation will no longer matter.

It matters for the gun and sniper experts on 2+2 (of which everyone seems to be)

Maybe I’m not accounting for all varieties of motive, but I have a hard time imagining a military guy hating Charlie Kirk enough to publicly execute him

There’s a video online showing that Charlie was probably wearing body armor (thin plate) under his t shirt. Hit the top part and deflected upwards into his neck. Why no exit wound through back of neck. Also why entry wound was so visible, usually hard to see entry. Was a good break down.

It’s not as hard of a shot as most make it out to be. Not sure on distance. Have heard 200 yards and 375 feet.

Oh sorry. I’m not an expert. Yeah I meant anyone that goes and practices could do it. It doesn’t have to be some cia agent or whatever crazy conspiracies are out there. The guy that did the video seemed credible about knowing firearms and armor.
