With El d sitting in the box for 8 plus a day plus access to the edr, we're looking at him chunking out to epic proportions. He should do a 300lb challenge. See if he can stay under that after 3 months of dealing.
Classic copium from Rice when he tells the viewers that he "is tired of travelling and playing",and that is why he is gonna try dealing fulltime.Let ut translate that for you Rice: you are tired of playing breakeven poker year after year, and earning income well belov the povertyline. You arent beating the games anymore,so the pokerpro or "pokerlife" you like to boast about is
One less rock at the table is a win for poker players.

100% this dude is going to be a blimp within the next year if he proceeds with his brilliant plan of working non-stop to further deteriorate his health along with less walking, more (free) eating, and most definitely less sleep.

This is great advice. There's usually one guy that always raises 5bb preflop. Plus you can get extra action when you flop monsters.
Actually, I somehow thought Troop was in a blind, but Trooper limped his hand somewhere after UTG and the button. What’s worse, is Trooper doesn’t realize in his newest video that the beginning of the problem was limping A6. Brad Owen never limps in position. It is always a raise, every time. He might call an EP raise, but he is never open limping.
As said before, likely still go broke on the A6 hand…But it should play completely different and maybe you can find a fold at some point? Likely not. However, over the long run, limping into pots is literally “playing to catch a hand” and you’re lighting continuous money on fire limping into pots, especially if in later position.
In Troopers latest video, he somehow levels himself to think he could fold his hand….But he never says “Well, I know I should have raised coming into the pot, and maybe I could put the guy on a range” I honestly have never heard trooper talk about other peoples “Range” or “cards”. He seems to just play “catch a hand”.
Maybe he is just playing with scared money and trying to “catch hands” to build a bankroll, but in the end, limpers are viewed as fish by most pros.

It ends preflop if Trooper raises and utg limp jams to win $20 so he doesn't get cracked.
For the record A6o is a fold and not a raise PF.

Disregarding preflop action, hitting trips you are beat by 3 trips that boated and 3 actual sets by the river, so ignoring the 2 oddball straights on that board, you have the 7th nuts.
So what is coming over the top on the river and shoving that you beat? 9 6x's, except the 6x's under 67 probably aren't shoving. At that point on the river, you have to realize you screwed up and find a fold.
I don’t think he says if it’s suited or not. I’ve seen him limp in with ace-rag offsuit but it was a long time ago.
Brunson always said “Don’t go broke in an unraised pot”. The mistake was not raising pre with A6 in my opinion. If you watch Brad Owen’s vlogs, he almost NEVER limp/calls into a pot. He is always raising, or he might flat a raise if he is in position. If Troop get re-raised pre flop, then you can figure out what to do and likely realize the guy has a monster. Also, Trooper neve
The correct quote was “Never go broke with ONE PAIR in a limped pot”. Sometimes you’re destined to go broke in a limped pot. What if there’s several limpers to you, you complete the small blind with 8-7 and the flop is 6-5-4. You check, there’s action behind you, you check raise and get it all in on the flop and lose when the board pairs? Should you not have gone broke there?
And I’m not defending the Trooper’s play. With the games he’s choosing to sit in, trips is almost never good with that much action on the river.

At low stakes limping with a suited ace might be fine. I can see why Brad wouldn’t like to limp in at the stakes he plays. But I’m not sure it was even suited.
Also, Trooper never ever discusses “Well the other player was ABC poker, or a lose gamble type”.
I’m sure he notices at least a little bit, but his intention when talking about the hand is to tell the viewer he got unlucky.
Troops “Unfinished business” is a joke. As much as I would like him to do well, he has never has studied the game seriously it seems. He is still playing 2008-2010 era poker ,which was make a hand.
It’s not a poker vlog, it’s a lifestyle vlog. He is too busy living an exciting life in the entertainment capital of the world. It takes a lot of time to show his viewers all the things that are going on in Vegas. Don’t be surprised if in his next video he shows his viewers an event at the Sphere, or Allegiant Stadium, or Dolby Live Theater, or PH Live, or T Mobile Arena, or one of the other countless venues in Vegas. Lady Trooper is lucky to have him.

Perhaps his long term goal is to be eating for free at heart attack grill
Just saw Pooper's new GoGamble line of "Unfinished" merch. LOL. Wonder if he gives any consideration what the market is for this product? Like, other than a few fanboys, who would wear this hat/shirt?
Seems like Tim outgrew his business acumen after the grade school pencil/candy sale days. . . .
Ask someone that bought a Go Gamble hat. I thought those were kinda stupid, but he sold a lot of them.
Well, since he can't deliver the sweets anymore, he might as well deliver a sweat. Hey ya!!
He probably had someone plant that comment for him. Brilliant marketing.
I don’t think anyone is planting a comment for him. People put up the money super fast last year for his entry.
A lot of the fans seem to have a similar mindset to Lady Trooper. If he goes on a big losing streak, they will turn it into a positive. “Don’t worry Trooper, you’ll win it all back I have faith in you.”
So Rice finally threw in the towel on his poker career
So he has failed at a law school coming from an Ivy League school
Failed at poker being a top 1 percent 1/3 pro
How long until he evidently fails at being a poker dealer?
His parents have to be so disappointed how his life turned out after investing so much money into him and going through an excruciating childbirth forceps delivery
Troopers explanation of the A6 hand makes zero sense.
Apparently Trooper claims there was no raising at any point in the hand. It was limped preflop. Then villain leads flop and turn and open shoves on river. Trooper just called on every street and there is no mention of any other players in the hand.
So let's assume the pot is $12 preflop, the flop bet is probably around $10 so the pot after the flop is $30, turn bet of $30 so pot after turn is only $90. So how does another $560 get into the pot on the river if there is no raise? Does Trooper really expect us to believe the villain just open shoved $280 into a $90 pot?
No chance in hell the hand went down like Trooper is claiming. Trooper most likely raised on river and then couldn't find the fold when he got 3-bet jammed on.

He did catch a hand, on the flop.
He stated getting from the Orleans to PH for his night shift might not be possible in only an hour time. He let the supervisor know this. Yet, in the video he let it slip he really wanted to hit up the edr before his PH shift. Gotta carb load for the rigors of pitching cards.

Yeah caught that too. Rice will be in heaven, getting to dine at multiple EDRs in the same day!
Wonder how many videos we will get about all the free food perks. Guaranteed Rice spends more time in the EDR than the other dealers combined.

I said it before, and I'll say it again,
nobody is buying a hat/merch that says 'UNFINISHED'.

There is likely going to be a challenge wherein ELD spends the entire three days of double shifts eating on EDR food and sleeping in the PH parking garage.

The Orleans to Planet Hollywood is an 11 minute drive. Employee parking? Average bus time is 40 minutes. If you aren't morbidly obese with only one working lung, it is a 55 minute walk. Good way to build up those calves.
