Because it is a simple and crude test which helps me shortlist the humans that might not be stupid and not waste time on finer grained measures for those that definitely are. Think of it as one of those colanders with the really big holes.
The problem then is that you're shortlisting a very disproportionate number of lighter skinned people for the not stupid list.
Maybe simple and crude tests aren't worth conducting when they're so simple and crude?

I haven't looked at the numbers but I'll take your word for it. I'm not going to stop thinking that something makes a person stupid purely for the reason that nonwhite people disproportionately do more of it.
Smart people are often given to believing dumb things, usually to conform with some group whose membership they value.
A factor is suspension of disbelief, or what Orwell called doublethink, which enables humans to enjoy tales and dramas, or take up political and religious ideas, by investing themselves in things they know to be imaginary and contrived.
The space of possibilities of things that "can't be measured", as you put it, is limited only by the imagination. For example, there *could* be an invisible gnome that lives in my back garden that watches over my every move and might get angry and send me to roast over an open fire for eternity after I die. Or it could be an invisible teapot. Or a flying spaghetti monster that
it is the pascal wager reversed. given the infinite amount of unmeasurable things that can exist even investing an infinitesimal amount of energy on each would amount to dedicating your whole life to bullshit (and ofc it wouldn't be enough).
that's similar to why the only rational amount of empathy toward strangers is 0, because we are 8 billions

Dunyain's map again. You're assuming stupidity for most Africans, Indians, South Americans and Indonesians but not for Europeans, Chinese and Americans.

there is also this

If they know those things to be imaginary and contrived, then they don't really believe them. I am talking specifically about genuine beliefs.

Whoa there, little buddy, I was explaining why it's dumb to believe dumb ****, not why it's cool for you to be a psychopath.

They tell themselves that they do believe, even though the belief is patently absurd. That's why they get so touchy and defensive about these things. Belief in dumb stuff follows a pattern of social influence, irrespective of people's intellect.

If you can be influenced by peer pressure to believe things that are patently untrue, you probably weren't the sharpest tool in the shed to start with.
I'll say again, the vast majority of people are dumb by my definition. Being smart is an outlier, not the average.
Would never have guessed that KoG was a road rage type of guy. He seems so calm and measured here.
lol some hicks in an ugly pickup just rolled coal on me here in Tampa FL. I then cut them off, they cut me back off, middle fingers were exchanged, etc. I mean, it wasn't just me, it was a busy road, but most of the smog hit my carDo you people in blue states ever get coal-rolled? Never lived in one. Happened once, iirc, in the other red state in which I've lived.I drive a
I live in NYC. Little or no rolling coal in the city, but I've seen a couple of absolutely bananas road rage confrontations, none of which I was personally involved in.
FWIW, this is not the sort of situation where I would choose to make a stand if I were you. If you are living in Tampa and you think rolling coal is hilarious, then there's a decent chance that you think carrying a gun in your truck is funny also.
And don't tell me that these guys were cowards at heart. That may well be true, but it doesn't matter. Cowards very often are the ones who pull the trigger because they are afraid.
I used to give people who did dumb things on the road a thumbs up, then I had a co worker think I flipped them off
We now live in a town of about 110k and we've had multiple road rage shootings in the last year
I wouldn't be playing chicken with road rage in these times

And why exactly do you think that is wrong? Some atheists can also be deemed stupid. so the proportion of stupid people in E,C,A could still be higher than in the areas with more believers.
But of course, it's more likely that there are more stupid people in those areas, and that doesn't imply anything is based on race. Education and cultural upbringing has a significant impact on intelligence in the way most people would measure. A white person who grew up in most parts in Africa is much more likely to be stupid than his identical twin who grew up in most parts of Europe.
Humans are stupid. It's a feature not a bug..
Look at the numbers of people who took the covid vax. Multiple times. A vax with zero long term safety record.
I mean it doesn't get any dumber than that.
My go to smartness test is the number of clot shots a person has had. With 0 being the smartest and then the more you have had the dumber you are on a sliding scale.
If you have had all of the recommended shots you are a guaranteed moron.

Can you give us any examples of a well-known person generally considered smart who got no Covid vaccinations?
And let's not forget the IYI phenomenon.
