lol @ huge money market.

It’s 2024. Mahome is the biggest star in the game and Kelce is dating a world famous singer.

Plenty of incentive to favor KC.

it's all good, bros. nothing is perfecto

Sporting Events!

They don’t call it SE for nothing.

unclear to me how much nfl has to gain from big market team winning (as opposed to appearing in) SBs. very clear how much they have to gain from minting dynasty QBs with multiple rangs. going back last 15 years basically every superbowl has favored incumbent legendary QBs in terms of penalties called. granted, pats make up like half of those SBs, so you could make the argument those teams just played cleaner without ref bias necessary. not sure i buy that though.

I don't know of any other sports league in the world that puts so much focus on parity. If they were interested in dynasties without having to blow up the whole salary cap system, they could easily just exclude the QB position from the cap.

There are 11 different champions over the last 15 years, that's >1/3 of the league.

not saying nfl hates parity or rigs everything, just that if there's some systematic bias in SB reffing it's more likely in favor of a legendary QB's team rather than big market teams.

similar to how more fouls should be called on the team playing shaq or lebron or jordan etc...It is much easier to play clean football having an elite QB than not having 1 for the most part, on both sides of the ball

Most recent SB victories:
...Dallas Cowboys, also known as America's Team: 1/28/1996
San Francisco 49ers: 1/29/1995...

Destiny is summoning you two!
