The Chiefs were one play away from a 4th and 15 for basically the game. The 9ers could have camped out at the sticks and made it incredibly difficult.

My guess is Chiefs are probably the first team ever to have less than 40% equity in every game and win it all. Still remember that one post I think you made of that guy calling into whatever sports radio station it was talking about how much that win meant after 50ish years. That was a great listen.

Happy last Red Friday of the season to everyone in case that's also a thing in SF.

Probably going to watch that NFL Turning Point video again today. Last time was before the SB last year.

What is red Friday?
What is turning point?

What is red Friday?

If the Chiefs play on the weekend the whole city dresses in red / Chiefs gear on Friday.

What is turning point?

The NFL Turning Point video series. The screenshot in suzzer99's post is from the "How Mahomes Made 3rd & 15 Magic in Super Bowl LIV" video. Unless something crazy happens that play will stay the biggest moment of Mahomes career. Not only because of the situation and throw but because he actually called the play himself.

The NFL doesn't allow for embedding the clip but here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-t6tbS5...

... it's 31-17 niners late in the 4th
Mahomes throws his third TD to Kelce
Andy correctly goes for 2 and they don't get it
Bork fumbles it back to the chefs
Kelce 4th TD and a successful 2pt conv this time sends it to OT
niners win the toss
borking down the field
bork throws a pick
Kittle jars the ball out of the hands of the pick guy
CMC recovers the loose ball and runs it in for the winning TD
37-31 final

that should produce the most interesting game day thread 😃

^ and 3 TD Kelce wins MVP in the losing effort. Taylor cheering wildly at his success, thinking he won, meanwhile Kelce crying while accepting the reward. People think he's crying out of happiness and a proposal is coming in short order. Taylor runs to the field to congratulate him and in a fit of rage, Kelce stunners her.

Fair weather fans seem to all love the chiefs. And even talking heads. Seems sus.

Also sounds like Taylor won't be at the game?

i like the over too, the O/U is only 1 point higher than Balt-KC which was set at 46 and that was in a cold windy outdoor stadium, this game is being played in a dome, SF offense is much more dynamic than Baltimore's and SF defense is not in the same league as Balt's, i dont see either defense being able to stop either offense

Man isn't this thread great without the occasional ****** posting in it?

Call me a hopeless romantic but I actually believe the kelce swift thing is legit.

It's easy to fall into the cynical, nihilist, misanthrope trap but one should always believe in love.

Chiefs 27, 9ers 17

Pacheco MVP

took chiefs +2.5 -115 on FD 10 mins ago, think it is a 5050 game and id take chiefs SU if i had to

simplistic but better QB and defense isn't just playing better than SFs lately, it is playing miles and miles better

It’s kinda wild that after Sunday one of two things will conclusively happen:

1. Walrus will win and firmly plant his flag as the greatest coach of all time

Wat? He'll only be halfway to Bellichick's total. I guess you can say BB's wins were all Brady, but you can similarly credit all of Fat Andy's to Mahomes.

Andy Reid won 130 regular season games before he even got to KC. Belichick was 36-44 before he went to New England.

No idea who the best coach all time is or even what criteria should be used, but there's only one way to end up with Belichick: sort by Superbowl titles
