Step 8 is complete. There are a few more trim pieces to add, then I'll stand it up and see what I have to work with. It's really heavy though. I'm not sure if my wife and I can stand it up without breaking something, like our backs.
Also, if you get it standing, how to prevent it from crashing back down before the first couple of bolts get into the studs? Maybe some placeholders into the ceiling or something?

It should stand ok. The problem is we cant just stand it up from where it is. There is a ceiling fan in the middle of the room. The bed is taller so we have to sort of raise and scoot at the same time .
