I don't understand how this hasn't been solved across so many sports.
Argentina def didn't drop into a full shell after they went up 2-1. They were pressing their asses all the way up the field in the 95th minute.
Argentinas subs were good as well tbh. I’ve never been impressed with Simeone when I’ve watched him play and he kept conceding possession again last night. His replacement was much better and stopped that route for England. All the others positively impacted the game also.
pretty amazing that with such an expanded field we still ended up with 4 of the biggest pre-tourney favorites in the finals
really felt like we threw that one away.
like it was working just about fine, though obviously close, but why change it so drastically, and then it clearly WASN'T working so why keep it like that....
