Him and Mbappé making Cucurella look like Maldini today

He's such an important player for Spain. Was robbed of MOTM against Austria in R32.

Spain have equalled Italy’s record for the longest unbeaten run in men’s international history.
DWWWWWWWWWDWWWWWDDWDWWWWWDWDDWDWWWWWW
37 games without defeat.

After beating France 2-0, Spain gained 42 Elo points and now stands at 2232, the second highest Elo rating in history only behind Hungary after their 4-2 win against Uruguay on June 30, 1954 at the World Cup in Switzerland.

Hungary (2234) dropped 44 points the next match after losing 2-3 in the final against West Germany

so if they win the final, 2026 spain goat oat ??

They would need to win Euro 2028 to match the Casillas-Xavi-Iniesta team.

seems like unnecessary pressure?

France is finished (Zidane's appointment is already known, a new head of the French national team)

Do soccer people care about MOTM? Always like a gratuitous handout in hockey tournaments that no one cares about and fans don't think about.

Gtfo with this nonsense!

An 11-minute Super Bowl-style show, co-headlined by Madonna, Shakira and K-pop boy band BTS, will take place during the interval at New York New Jersey Stadium.

Justin Bieber was last week added to the bill for Sunday's performance which, along with the headliners, also includes Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay, with singer Chris Martin having curated the show.

Tom Cruise, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and IShowSpeed are set to perform as part of the ceremony, with Jennifer Hudson to sing the United States' national anthem.

I'm hoping it's loudly booed, but I guess the muppets that are spending thousands to attend are really there for this stupid ****, not the game.

Really takes extraordinary amount of corruption, the most overrated midget of our time and his army of ghouls to have me root for Tuchel and his lads but here we are

Did anyone else notice the foul by Yamal around the 87th minute looked very close to being inside the penalty area? I had to go back and look again after the game and it looked like it was at least on the line (but was hard to see from the TV coverage). Surprised it wasn't mentioned more in commentary and/or reviewed by VAR.

Also nobody from France claimed it was inside the penalty area or on the line (which is in)
I remember while watching I thought "that was close" but confident it was out

Yeah I immediately thought it was on the line = in, but they always quite arbitrarily say that the foul started earlier (or later), so I didn't expect VAR to do anything and without a good replay I wasn't sure anyway

I forgot all about it after Mbappé shot the FK way over instead of going for what seemed like a straight line to the far corner, with half his team there for a rebound

Kylian Mbappe was the player with the least defensive actions this world cup. Behind every goalkeeper and a 39 year old Leo Messi and 41 year old Cristiano Ronaldo

any dictator born after 1995 cant cook, all they know is mcdonalds, charge they phone, twerk, be bisexual, eat hot chip, run offside and lie

FALKLANDS.

FALKLANDS.

God dammit I wanted to come in here and make a Falklands Islands reference.

I think they belong to Britain and woe to the vanquished Argentina.

Harry Kane should have arrived by Harrier Jump Jet.

What there are breaks?

I thought you just ran it and played the whole half out in soccer.

+EV move for every keeper during corners: Find the closest opponent and touch him.

Not when murica is in charge. then we need [strike]commercial[/strike] hydration breaks.

Should be red for Messi. Kicked him after the tackle.

3 game ban imo.

Was that Oprah ref giving out three yellows at once or was it all for a single Anderson yellow?
