tourist traps are notorious in NYC, anything food related with a super long line --- is simply a waste of time.

Mostly agree. The places I recommended were not tourist places and would not have long lines.

I’m gone, didn’t even know pho sandwich was a thing. I love pho, not a big fan of banh mi but this pho sandwich looks good.

I don't know. I haven't been to a lot of the old-time pastrami places in a long time. Again, I am not claiming that Katz's pastrami is bad. There is no rule that says the best sandwiches must feature pastrami.
