I lurk at unstuck on occasion, and I haven't found anyone new posting there who seems anything like mongy. He might be posting in a non-political thread though.

It’s because nobody has made up fake stories about me yet. I’m a perfectly reasonable person until I get messed with. I’m about 40 posts in and have had no problems. There doesn’t seem to be any rage filled third world mental cases over there which helps.

I spend most of my time responding to trolls in these forums. My posting content is quite good but you all have formed your opinions about me here so it doesn’t matter.

What's your user name there, if this is true (which it isn't)?

by StoppedRainingMen

Mongo how much longer til you stop posting and **** right off to your mythical fantasy forum?

And can you take the hobo and the genocidist with you?

You’re just sad you can’t follow me over there because they wouldn’t put up with your rage trolls.

by mongidig

How much longer are we gonna hear that “this is a fragile ceasefire”? Iran continues to attack. Hezbollah continues to attack. I think it’s time to go Gaza on them until they cry uncle. No more 30 or 60 day ceasefires. Either they surrender to all of our demands or we continue the bombing.

I like how your retaaded ass thinks a ceasefire means every country must cease firing except for Israel and the United States.

Speaking of dumb, are you aware that both the US and Israel have only been responding to being attacked?

Even Fox admits that's bullshit, so I can only imagine where you're getting your information from - perhaps cam girls?

Why are you watching Fox. You should stay away from MSM.

An Iranian lawmaker warned Sunday that Tehran will continue to control the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that other nations must submit to Iran's rules.

"We unequivocally support the ever-victorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' decisive action against the American enemy and the assertion of Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz," Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Parliament's Foreign Policy and National Security Commission, said in a post shared on X.

"The Strait of Hormuz will not return to its previous state, and others have no choice but to submit to Iran's directives in the Strait," he added.

Rezaei's remarks came after President Donald Trump said on June 27 that the U.S. military would "complete the job" if Tehran did not comply with the ceasefire agreement.

The interim Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Tehran and Washington includes provisions governing control of the Strait of Hormuz intended to guarantee toll-free passage for vessels for a 60-day period.

Iran seems good at taunting Trump...

I don't watch Fox (figured you did but apparently you're getting your info from even more retaaded sources), but sound bites are out there so I'm aware of their position.

How is the whole world not up in arms about this?

What's the taunt? They know they have the edge and they are reminding him after getting bombed again.

Maybe because all US intel officially stated that Iran wasn't an imminent threat, the Strait of Hormuz was open, they were in negotiations with the US, and US/Israel decided to start a war to get Ep out of the news cycle.

I have lots of sources I get my information from. Everyone is in full agreement that both Hezbollah and Iran have been the aggressors during the ceasefire.

You seem quite ignorant on the subject based on your posts. If this continues I will start asking you specific questions to test your baseline knowledge of this topic. The Western world is sadly under educated on geopolitics.

What is your definition of an imminent threat?

by mongidig

Yes, I'm sure you. And I'd imagine if you put them all together, you'd almost have a full set of teeth between the lot of them.

I don't need any of your retaaded litmus tests. If you have evidence contrary to what I'm posting, just post a link, derp.

by mongidig

What is your definition of an imminent threat?

You can listen to the two heads of intelligence who elaborated on what their connotation of the words imminent and threat means. They had to do that for people like you, who aren't familiar with its usage.

The whole world is indeed up in arms about the US ****ing everybody over, you got that right!

You support Iran taking over a country with it’s proxy Hezbollah?

Mongy is no doubt lying about having around 40 posts in Unstuck (which he only joined about two weeks ago by his own testimony.)

I lurk there and I didn't notice ANY new accounts lately, certainly not with 40 posts in about two weeks.

Of course, he could easily clear this up by giving us his handle over there, which he obv won't do because he's a very dishonest person.

Hezbollah never broke a ceasefire bc there never was one. Israel never stopped killing Lebanese and destroying houses and taking land. and even if they did, Hezbollah killed Israeli soldiers IN LEBANESE TERRITORY. just being in Lebanon is a violation. this is what I mean when I call you a Jewish Supremacist. you legit cannot comprehend that they have no right to be in Leba

A violation of what? What do you mean by “have no right”?

You’re stepping into the world of IR without international law, you should know that’s the realm of realpolitik and amoral strategy. If you want to talk about rights then we can talk about that. Notably no one is trying to say that Israel has no right to invade Lebanon after years of government failure to tamp down on Hezbollah.

ya dude, no **** you would not go back. thats the whole point. the people want to go back but they cant. and the only hope they have to go back resides with Hezbollah. bc their govt finally made it official that were happy to forfeit the land to Israel.

No one has forfeited land to Israel yet. Hezbollah is why they were invaded in the first place, and the people that support Hez didn’t need this war to do that.

bc that is indeed their intention, as they have made known throughout the last 80 years in word and deed. thats why the Lebanese govt are traitorous puppets who are helping to displace actual Lebanese citizens indigenous to the land for centuries.

You have a particular ideological reason to say this.

its especially gross bc Iran had negotiated a deal, on paper, to make the thieves leave. but the Lebanese govt, the one that you call "legitimate", signed papers to overrule the MOU and actually give up the land to the Israelis. and you are going to say that if you lived in the South, and gave up your home and possessions and were living in a tent on a Beirut sidewalk with no amenities or help from the "legitimate" Lebanese govt, that its fine and that that same "legitimate" govt actually represents you?

Notably part of that deal was a mutual cessation of conflict, something that Hezbollah never agreed to. The Lebanese government shouldn’t need to pass all their agreements through an illegitimate paramilitary force occupying the South of Lebanon. The agreement between Israel and Lebanon involves a handover back to Lebanon once the Lebanese military is able to successfully take control of those regions.

It doesn’t involve Israel taking new territory.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/annex-in-i...

Also the MoU was of course always ridiculous for both Iran and the US making promises about people that were not party to the agreement.

by Bill Haywood

What is your explanation for the mass destruction of housing, if not for ethnic cleansing?

Mass destruction is a bit loaded, but I would say the explanation is that Israel was being attacked by Hezbollah since Oct 7th from those communities so it’s not unexpected that in order to fight Hezbollah there would be some residential housing destroyed.

Also I don’t see a good reason to believe that Israel would want to annex territory away from a government that is now amenable to their security concerns. They also don’t have much in the way of ability to extend themselves indefinitely into South Lebanon just by pure size, will, and population.

I’ve been there longer than that. I just recently confirmed that’s the sight you all were referring to.

What’s up with this creepy infatuation about me. You all need to just stay in your lane and worry about yourselves.

If it wasn't for your lying and trolling, nobody would be infatuated with you at all. You're by far the creepiest poster in this forum imo.

When are you going to explain to us why you lied about your Elway account?

You suggested you'd be willing to discuss it in the Moderation thread, and yet you refuse to do so.

I can assure you if you stop lying and trolling our 'infatuation' with you will disappear.

by whatthejish

mongidig,Why did you create the Elway account and pretend to be someone else? How long would you have continued pretending had coordi not outed you? What did you hope to gain with this ruse? Do you feel you achieved said goal(s)?How many other times have you attempted something like this? Thanks for taking the time to answer.Edit:

The United States and Iran “will stand down for now” following an exchange of fire near the Strait of Hormuz over the last several days, a Trump administration official said on Sunday.

“Both sides will stand down for now and vessels can move freely,” the official said.

It’s not yet clear what Iran’s position is on the matter.

Hmm.. so it's not clear what Iran's position on the matter is, so let's just say both sides (including Iran) have agreed to stand down, but we don't know if Iran has agreed to stand down, but we thought it would be neat to say so, until they say it isn't...which they will.

what a gong show.

If Trump gave his allies as much rope as he he gives Iran what a better place the world would be for those countries who are trying to navigate trade deals and other matters with the US.

ffs, Trump won't allow a bridge that Canada built and paid for to open, all because a donor has his nose out of joint. But, he'll let Iran endlessly lead him around by the nose like a trained puppy, all for the whole world to see.

They are erasing villages and towns. Read the papers.

Bill, I understand that is an absolute tragedy, but what exactly did Hezbollah expect to happen when it attacked Israel in solidarity with Hamas on October 8th and continue to posture against Israel as much as possible since then? You know 100k Israelis have also been displaced by Hezbollah from their targeting of Northern Israel. That doesn’t mean that the million+ being displaced is not a tragedy, but I’m not sure what you think militaries are going to do when their country is being continuously attacked.

Whatever you may rightfully criticize Israel for about Gaza, I can’t see a credible argument against casus belli for them to strike back against Hezbollah. Even if you think it was just for them to join the war against Israel, it’s complete right by any reasonable standard of national defense for them to occupy South Lebanon for as long as it takes them to end the threat to North Israel.

This is regardless of what is going on in Gaza, which is the pretext for Hezbollah’s actions.

By the way, this underscores the entire issue with Hezbollah, even if you consider it a legitimate actor. They can unilaterally decide to drag the country into war despite being an unelected, unaccountable paramilitary force. Well guess what happens when your country gets dragged into a war against a stronger opponent? Civilians are rarely completely untouched in war, but that was the sacrifice Hezbollah was willing to make. Now I’m supposed to sit here and wag my finger at Israel for something that any country would do if faced with the same choice, and ignore anything that Hezbollah did that got Lebanon in this position.
