I genuinely have zero understanding of why you are upset about little italy, say. Like isn't this just a cool neighbourhood in Toronto or whatever city where you can go to get awesome, authentically Italian food and a bunch of Italian families can be around each other? What, exactly, is the problem? This is the false zero sum view. In reality, if you harmed the Canadian labour force by removing immigrants or some class of immigrants, we would have devastating economic consequences. It wouldn't be that 100% of Canadians get jobs. It would be that there would be less jobs, and STILL you'd have high youth unemployment and STILL you'd have BSc holders who don't get jobs etc. In no country on earth do you get to zero domestic unemployment. It's just economic mumbo jumbo - and this is the central point that you have no serious economic analysis to back up your vibes.

It is true that I don't know what you believe is the problem in Brampton. I don't think our country is, has ever been, or should be homogeneous. There will be highs and lows of ethnic concentration as people quite reasonably want to find common community. Brampton is the spot with (I think?) the highest concentration of Indian people. Ok. So what? Why - exactly - is this a problem that means we should cut Canada wide the proportion of Indians down to 5%?

Which are you talking about exactly? IIRc the stellantis nextstar was also primarily tax credits and productive incentives if built out. Canada definitely has lost out on opportunities due to Trump, but I think there isn't a huge amount of money already spent that has now been lost.

I am 100% pro indigenous and when ever I can I hire a indigenous trade over others and have done this with both concrete and drywall . The drywall guy once didnt show up for two weeks and called me Sorry I was in jail be there Monday and I still kept him on .
Lets be clear on the MMIW you do realize a large % of them are that at the hands of their own indigenous community and many lead high risk lifestyles which doesn't make it right but its reality .
