NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!

OKC played well enough to win on defense I'd say. Their ball pressure and forcing turnovers is what got them back in the game and had them on the cusp of winning. From like 5 minute mark of the 4th to maybe a few minutes into OT when it seemed they ran out of gas, their defense was dominating and even when the Spurs were scoring it was pretty ugly.

It was an offensive loss, SGA was horrible, Dort/Ajay/Hartenstein all looked like guys who may not be able to play much in this series. All important players to varying degrees. Chet looked like he couldn't do anything but hit an open 3. When Wemby is on the floor, not sure how much of that doesn't mostly continue.

Thought J Dub looked great really but no idea if his body is gonna hold up with the intensity of this series.

I don't see OKC winning the series, but I don't see them losing the next game neither, imho...

Just like Lex Luthor said on Smallville in episode Jinx:

surprising IMO, albeit I thought what he did with Flagg was a little weird...particularly early in the season

Spurs have lost 3 times in their last 41 games when Wemby plays more than 15 mins....ie isn't injured or ejected.

Never cared much for Kidd as a player or a coach, but in his defense I don't think it mattered who was the coach last year, the team was just bad.
