I really dont think there has been a change of heart and I'm pretty sure the anti weat crowd still wants to fight as much or more now than before. I would make the the completely unverified guess that Iran is in worse shape than Americans realize. Unless they get some serious help from Russia or China its unlikely they will do anything other than deteriorate. The strait is overrated in terms of some weapon against the US and it s hurts Iran themselves and china a lot more than the media will ever mention.

I voted for Harris buddy. Got nothing against trans people, live in a community full of immigrants and have been able to purchase and eat eggs for as long as I can remember with no financial burden.
It seems like MAGA and conservatives at large are also not pleased with our actions against Iran. Turning Israel/AIPAC into a boogeyman is a tactic being used by both the left and right.

Apparently Israel and Lebanon are going to initiate talks. There isn’t much info yet but my guess is that Hezbollah is weak and lacking material support from Iran. Lebanon is obviously tired of hosting these radical Islamic extremists against their will.
Over the past 3 years we’ve seen a total collapse of Iran’s Axis of Resistance. This might not be a big deal to the average westerner but it’s a great development for humanity.

That was a reason to redouble efforts to improve relations with the more pragmatic/reasonable leaders. Not to burn it all down.
And a reason to take defensive security very seriously. Including an inquiry into any security lapse.
