We did and it wasn't cheap. Or easy. But we finished today.
That looks nice. I tried the red mulch years back, but it faded in the sun, so I replaced with rock.
is everything ok with that pelican near the seawall?

Yeah. But that's what we already had so we just added to it. No way I'm putting in MORE rock.

Nothing much going on, which I kinda like. Still working on my second book.
They started the house across the street. Today they delivered a truckload of pilings. They will drive these into the ground to support the slab.
Just a little mini-rant about computers
My wife now works at home. We are trying to get a dual monitor setup going for her. Unfortunately her pc (as well as most I'm learning) only has one (hdmi) port for a monitor. Sooooo, we bought a converter thingy that goes from hdmi to usb. Yeah, it worked for a minute. But it kept failing and we would have to uninstall, then reinstall, and eventually that quit working. So, I bought a docking station. But guess what? It uses a usb-c port which my wife's computer does not have. Ugh.
My wife's computer is also having issues rebooting. The on-off button is failing. She's had the laptop for a while. She occasionally travels with it and it weighs a ton. So we decided to just bite the bullet and get her a new one.
Yes, the new one has a usb-c port. But, guess what? All usb-c ports are not alike, I've learned. You need a special video supporting usb-c port and the new computer does not have it.
So, I searched and found one that should work with the old usb ports. But, guess what, the frickin' video ports on it are some sort of almost hdmi ports. Standard monitor cables won't work in it. Not exactly sure what they are, but it won't work.
I just ordered yet another device to try to get this working.
Soooooooo frustrating.
I'm no computer expert but did enough research to learn this before I bought a new laptop.

My issue is that I had no clue that there were different flavors of usb-c. Never heard of such a thing.

one of the few blessings from covid was being forced to evacuate my desk located across the street from just starting construction of a 40 story high-rise condo hotel and associated underground parking structure hence shoring with blindside lagging and countless pounded piles required to even elevate it above sidewalk level escaped my sensory experience

It appears as if I finally found a docking station that works.
That sort of treated wood lasts for lifetimes. People do all sorts of things with the cut-offs. He'll probably dump them.
This could be the chance you've been waiting for to get some of your money back.
Buy 'em; stack 'em; eBay 'em to local gardeners and upcyclers.
