Lol. I didn't imply you were a Nazi. I said you sounded like a person that would be kind enough to hide Jews but spineless enough not to go the distance. That was not an attack on you, but an attack on your ******ed Holocaust analogy.

jfc man, it takes a special kind of idiot to try to wiggle out of owning up that they literally made a personal attack and then cried foul when one came back and then tries to argue semantics over what was obviously shorthand in order to weasel out of it

I attacked your argument by attacking your analogy, but you took that as a personal attack. I'll stand by my personal attack that you suck at using words, though.

CNN and MSNOW have lower combined average viewership than FOX alone

This puts your lack of insight on the subject into full display

Because FOX gets less viewership than Joe Rogan

CNN and MSNOW as entities have less reach than Nick Fuentes

You guys legitimately have your heads buried in the sand if you think there isn't a drastic and outright abusive information asymmetry

It's a crying shame that folks now have plenty of viewing options and are choosing to not listen to corporate media.

Harris could have got a huge audience by being on Rogan's program but obviously had much more important things to do...like attend a fundraiser in Texas.

If you have to resort to an ad hominem, perhaps you lack the ability to explain your position clearly? Maybe, instead of everyone being thick-headed, you just suck at using words?

The fact you think the strategy of demonizing immigrants by Republicans and then campaigning on that demonization is some groundbreaking-level insight is lmao.

IRONY ALERT!!!

Most post by you, SRM and coordi, et. al. (collectively) include an ad hominem, you tard!

by rickroll

how rich after alluding to me being a nazi you accuse me of being ad hominem because you're literally too dumb to understand the difference between understanding an ideology and believing one

Ironic, ain't it? You Nazi tard!!!

by rickroll

bb it's stuff like this which is exactly what i'm talking about - if you even spent a minute with those people you'd know conversations like this never take place in the real world

If it makes them feel good to post this garbage, let them have their fun, you tard!

by biggerboat

Maybe not blatantly like that all the time, but they believe it and vote it.

Citation please? Thanking you in advance.

Trump won because we are stupid and bad and extremely gullible. I don't really want democrats to throw up their hands and say, "oh well, maybe we just need to be stupider and worse ".

There definitely are people that are essentially identical to the graphic you posted but there is obviously a spectrum to this for starters, and more importantly, those guys aren't ever voting for anything other than the gop so it isn't exactly a useful or helpful audience.

Your continuous loss of Latino voters over the last decade matters. Blue states like California voting in right leaning propositions also matter. You could argue that that was the success of right-wing media putting fear into the centrists' hearts but again, it still matters. You've also got a problem with a left wing faction of the democratic party not liking your particular cup of tea and sat out of voting - again, matters.

Imo, if i could sum it up into one issue, it was the fact that Kamala had almost nothing going for her that got folks passionate enough to vote for her, other than to prevent Trump, and I don't think that is a winning strategy. You need someone like a Mamdani or even an old school Obama that actually gives people hope and dream to vote for something instead of against something. Bernie was better but I won't go down that road again. Trump was that for the right, regardless of it being right or wrong - Kamala wasn't

And I'm sure you'll disagree with this but the dems have done a magnificent job of torching potential votes when it wasn't necessary.

James Talarico, who last week defeated Jasmine Crockett in the Democrat primary for Senator in Texas, seems to understand what you're describing. He put forth a positive, hopeful message beyond the typical "Orange Man Bad" rhetoric. His positive message resonated with many voters.

Citation please? Thanking you in advance.

You voted for him how many times?

by biggerboat

You voted for him how many times?

Three times.

And I don't like guns.

Looking forward to your citation.

I disagree, just because the dem coalition is really hard to keep together. A huge chunk of Hispanic voters self identify as white and have no college education. If not for being Hispanic, they would vote Republican at an 80% clip. Anybody who thinks they can run a national Dem campaign and win easily is just deluded.

I somewhat agree with this and the dem party is going to naturaly alienate some people when trying to keep a party of that size together. But the white hillbilly redneck cartoon charactor that we are blaming is a dying breed and was never an influential voter yet the dems are bleeding votes and the reps somewhat gaining.

I guess in 20 years when Trump Jr is president, we will be showing pics of dumb Hispanic men and blame them for the loss - that should rejuvenate the party.

The Dems have left the middle class voter and common sense issues

rickroll is basically right, you guys were not good at converting trumpsters to vote kamala on this board. in the future, try befriending the opponent instead of shaming them.

I strongly disagree that the low education low performing white with negative opinions of black people or nonwhite immigrants was "never an influential voter'. It's the single biggest reason why republicans dominate rural areas and the south.

Literally nobody is saying democrats running for office should start talking about Cletus culture or discuss rurals and low education whites like Trump talks about nonwhite people......and none of them do.

Nah **** that, I'm done trying to appease them. They had every chance to wake up during or after Trump's first term. I'm exhausted and it's not my responsibility to coddle fully grown adults.

Is anybody trying to do that? That's not really our job. I fully admit I got as much chance of getting Lozen to understand why Harris was way better than Trump as I do getting him through Quantum Field Theory 101.

by ecriture d'adulte

as I do getting him through Quantum Field Theory 101.

you are hands down the most insufferably arrogant douche on this forum, even your username and avatar are cries for intellectual validation

you are so deeply sad and pathetic

You mixing who votes for republicans the most with who likely determines election outcomes. Being loyal is not the same as influential and those people are the opposite of what you could influence in the other direction. They are hugely irrelevant to why the dems lost.

The election does not start Dem vs republican. The reason why modern republicans sound like Trump and not George W Bush on immigration is due to the strong influence of the type of voters you claim have no influence. And the question of why lower class white voters who live in heavily republican areas that are objectively awful keep voting for less help, closing of their hospitals lower funding for education that could help their kids potentially escape is heavily caused by an irrational belief that they are doing poorly because of minorities.

Basically this

Grown ass adults will do what they want to regardless of what I present as evidence they shouldn’t. It’s not my fault they make stupid decisions because apparently I didn’t do a good enough job stopping them from doing so

Shame is powerful when people are capable of feeling shame. Shame isn't very powerful against people who display sociopathy. Thats where liking Trump comes from, sociopathy.

So not sure what could be done to make sociopaths feel empathy. These people only feel embarrassed now because their lives have been affected, not because other people have been affected.

I'm also not a politician and don't actually care about "converting" ******s.

In 2 years trump supporters will either vote for the new trump or for trump himself. It’s not my fault you will do it, just like it’s never been my fault you already did it

I doubt seriously that I can nice the guy down the street with a huge cutout trump face in his front window and trump flags flying from the bed of his truck into convincing him that anyone on the planet would be a better president than his orange jesus.
