Did you guys see the dogs running loose at the Olympics? Dogs were happy. People were happy. Everyone cheered. No one shot the dogs.

Just imagine if there were thousands of them. Wouldn't that be great.

I think this sucks. Sucks majorly in every conceivable way.

Of course it's an awful thing to say. But I don't think it violates any forum rule(s), which was the context of my opinion.

This is a great example of when you should simply not post anything at all.

Thank you for sharing. I of course disagree with your assessment, but I'm probably slightly biased in favor of liking my own posts.

I liked it.

Maybe that could be an Olympic Event in 2030. Michael Vick could be the honorary chairman.

I just wanted to remind everyone that as long as Luciom is still banned, the moderation team is doing a fantastic job and I 100% approve.

Free Lucium

by Luckbox Inc

Umm yes it would be actually.

Go Dog Go was my favorite book when I was one. A big dog party

I was always partial to Harry the Dirty Dog myself. To each their own.

Free Lucium

You are wasting their time complaining to coordi and CN about Luciom. As I recall, Luciom was perma'd by someone higher up in the vast 2+2 empire (can't remember who) and mods can't unwind bans issued by other people.

There's nothing stopping Lucio from coming in with a gimmick account; Kelhus is quite aware of this.

That's probably true. I simply was noting that coordi and CN have no authority to lift the permaban on the Luciom account.

If you find out who did it please let me know so I can send them a token of my appreciation.

I should mention I feel the same way about Brian James. Excellent job.

BJ was permabanned?

Don't remember the word permanent being associated with it, but it's been quite awhile and he hasn't come back. Hopefully it's permanent.

He was unceremoniously nuked from orbit

rip james

if he was a garden variety Trumper conservative that supported the genocide in Palestine then he would certainly still be here. for that fact alone he certainly had more of brain than 90% of the posters here.

I read this post several times and I still don't understand it.

He’s implying that he was banned because he was critical of Israel, which I am highly skeptical of.

All his posts in the last month before being banned were in the RFK thread pushing antivax narratives, so seems unlikely. Not sure why he was banned.

A lot of personal attacks and name calling, on top of pushing antivax material; but nothing that seems outside the Overton Window of what has been allowed for the last year or so. Maybe he got a warning to stop all the personal attacks and kept doing it.

I think promoting anti-vax narratives one of the few things still permaban worthy in these here parts.

His ban probably had little or nothing to do with name-calling. If that was the reason, SRM would be long gone by now as well.

I am under the impression that every person, or almost every person, who has been permabanned in the last several years was warned several times to knock off XYZ and simply chose to ignore those warnings.

That was certainly true in my case.

... and in BJ's case as well. (anti-vax)

I'm taking a permanent holiday from Politics until Geezerchess is rightfully removed from the forum.

don't let the door hit you on the way out........ means, I'll be back this afternoon.
