Is The Epstein Pivot That Big A Deal
How much of the original allegations are actually now denied? Is it not possible that the only thing that has changed is
I haven't watched any of it, but I've seen enough hearings to know that most politicians aren't looking for an answer. They ramble on and make their point and really don't care about whoever it is sitting there. Unless they want to try to trap them or something. Not defending Bondi here. She's beyond horrible.

Wtf? What a terrible take. You should probably watch it before yapping, as she was asked very clear, simple questions and was given the space to answer.

Elizabeth Warren and JFK Jr shouting at each other for like 3 minutes during a hearing was one of the worst things I've ever watched. She is painful enough to listen to and then you add his "voice" and yeeeeeesh.
Three hours each? So you want the hearing to be 132 hours long? That would take over 3 weeks at 8 hours each day.
What? If the House Judiciary Committee only needed one person, there would only be one person in the committee and not 44.
How long do you think it takes, for example, to ask and answer the question: Has the DOJ met with and interviewed any of the victims?
Or... Donald Trump attended various parties with Jeffery Epstein. Were there any underaged girls at any of those parties?
Or... How many of Epstein's co-conspirators have you indicted?
Or... Who in your organization made the massive failure of not redacting the names of these victims but redacted co-conspirator Les Wexner's name in an FBI document?
Each of those questions do not take 5 minutes to ask an answer. Instead, when asked if he was at any parties with underaged girls, this dipchit yells at the committee and says we shouldn't care about that because the DOW broke $50K [sic] and that's what we should be talking about, and you celebrate her.
She did so badly that Trump is likely going to have to fire her even though it was the best incendiary Trump bootlicking performance he's ever seen to date.
lol, someone has never watched a congressional hearing
Lol, what a tardo. This was the worst ever. All the other ones who refuse to answer questions respectfully not answer the question. She was yelling at them and being extremely disrespectful. No decorum whatsoever. She called a Congresswoman, whose grandfather died in the Holocaust, an anti-Semite. Apparently asking questions about Epstein is being anti-Semitic, and you drink it up like a bowl of ambrosia because you're a Trumptardo.
We need more hearings with Crockett, AOC, and bring back MTG

I agree her answers or lack of is disgusting .
I think its disgusting that not one person has been charged and the fact Trump lied about releasing the files.
Sure, whatever floats your boat, but whoever is compelled to testify in front of Congress is subjected to being held in contempt of Congress if they are disorderly.
But sure, to address your lame whaddabout, each of those members should have been disciplined by their respective houses.
In 2009, Epstein wrote a short email to a recipient that the DOJ had initially redacted. “Where are you? are you ok I loved the torture video” he said at the time.
Can we all take a step back and recalibrate rereading this OP by a deeply creepy human being?
How much of the original allegations are actually now denied? Is it not possible that the only thing that has changed is that a written "list" doesn't exist? I haven't followed the details, but it seems to me thar Epstein thought himself mainly as a glorified Hugh Hefner except he took the strategy too far. He realized that there are many rich, powerful famous men, who, because
I mean ****ing Jesus
search the epstein emails gmail style. i don't think everything is there, unless some of the 'screenshots' i've seen in various places are fakes
This is pretty nuts. This guy seems to have divided his time fairly evenly between sexually abusing underage girls and writing emails. I don't see how he could have had time for much else.
But if the theory is reasonable, it should probably be the one you go with since the alternatives theories require believing some terrible things about this country.
imagine believing any terrible things about the evil empire
Listen man, it’s not like he goaded an alleged sexual partner into their suicide or took in a disabled person to be dressed up as his toy
It’s like you immediately assume the worst of a well meaning OP who is deeply invested in his country
Sidenote: mason, where are we at on that whole poker boom thing?
At congressional hearings, the congressperson since they only have a limited amount of time to speak is able to interrupt the person they are questioning to answer a different question. The person that is being examined does not have impunity to speak, they can only answer questions actually asked. Furthermore, if a congressperson needs more time to answer questions, a different congressperson can offer part of their time to them to give them more than 5 minutes. Typically rather than doing that, they will coordinate different lines of reasoning with others in their party or others on the committee if it is a bipartisan effort.
So when Bondi interrupts the person examining her, that is bad form. But when the person examining her interrupts her not only is this not bad form, it is precisely what the person on the committee is supposed to do if they are getting stonewalled. They are supposed to, by procedure, allow the person to answer the question if they are doing so directly, but aren’t expected to do it. I watched some of the hearing and almost every single answer Pam gave was offtopic, a red herring, a strawman argument, or some other fallacy.
This is not a both sides thing that her hearing was disastrous/shrill, and claims that it are must be from people who aren’t familiar with the role of these congressional committees/hearings.

Yes her testimony was disastrous but I have seen these hearings for years and its I reclaim my time non stop. It's a bad system giving only 5 minutes .

We've been through this before. You can't have it take a month. Members of Congress have money to steal rather than question someone for weeks, so the person giving testimony needs to follow procedure.
Hillary testified for 11 hours and not once did a member of the committee have to reclaim their time. They reclaimed their time by interjecting and when they did, she shut the fukk up and listened to what they have to say and then respond.
Shiit's not complicated.

I don’t know if you have ever participated in any sort of public meeting/hearing, but it’s a balancing act of allowing people to develop their point and also make sure that things don’t go into the weeds. If they need to hear more from someone they can bring them back, they can interview them in closed sessions/depositions, they can ask them to submit written testimony, they can ask for a staff report about a particular issue, etc. The examination itself is the tip of the iceberg. It’s not meant to be comprehensive.

What impresses me about Epstein is what an amazing networker he was. I wish he would have given a several hour masterclass on how to network. There was a lot more to building all those connections than just having a pedophile island.

Politicians are often miffed when others dodge questions and lie with impunity, which is a privilege they generally reserve for themselves.
Not that honest politicians do not occasionally pop up, but honesty is a fickle beast in politics: Impressive on paper, but detrimental to future prospects and not something people really want after having seen the outcome. A bit like having a polar bear for a pet.
"she said that she felt gods presence next to her when she was in bed.. she knows jesus watches over her. and he helped save her life. Whoops"
Epstein then appeared to respond approvingly, referencing what he described as a “Jesus I’m coming” trick.
"Of course, the OH jesus Im coming trick," he wrote.

Whoops
they say Whoops a lot in the emails. I am fairly convinced its used when they murder someone.
