That would ONLY be on you. I have had second thoughts about actions I have taken and adjusted. Doesn't mean I think you should adjust.
If that happens I will happily ask to be removed as mod, no hard feelings. It won't "happen" without your say/so.... and posters have been all over EVERY mod to resign. Not their choice. As always, do what you think is correct.

I wasn't stanning for Luckbox. I am just mystified as to how his obvious trolling about his dog[s] has generated such an insane number of responses over such an extended period. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised. There was a thread about pitbulls in a different forum that generated thousands of responses.
I obviously agreed that modding the forum isn't a privilege. I made that point repeatedly.

I've asked that Luckbox's ban get shortened to 24 hours and here is an explanation why:
I watched a US citizen get executed by federal agents a few days ago
We are restructuring at work, which always drives uncertainties
These two things lead me to take a "mental health" day to focus on other things
That is base acknowledgement that my stressors are too high to be dealing with certain things, and that probably includes issuing moderation judgements

You post, you can get insulted for that post
Family is off limits - You see someone insulting your parents, kids, cousin, girlfriend, whatever, report it and it will be dealt with

I've liked your post not because I think LB's ban was excessive (I don't), but because I find your fairness, despite having your GF insulted, pretty admirable.

Maybe you should resist the urge to ban people with garbage insults if you're going to accuse other people of white knighting. Frankly, I doubt a cretin that posts this as a mod--like a coward where he thinks no non-mods will ever see it-- HAS a girlfriend.

That said, YOU were the one who brought your girlfriend into the discussion, so not sure how LB (or anyone else) would know a priori that your girlfriend would be off-limits.

For the record, in spite of our differences, I think coordi is an excellent moderator.
