I trust him with more than my child. I trust him with my cat, who is incapable of speaking up for herself. And thanks to the fact that I do actually know him as a person, I know enough about the area he's living in and dogsitting in (yes, OTHER PEOPLE ALSO TRUST HIM TO WALK THEIR DOGS) to understand that it's very, very remote, and that he takes very, very good care of his dog and protects her when they are in populated areas.

Next year the school shooting in question will have been FIFTEEN years ago. I am not the same person that I was fifteen years ago and if you ARE, frankly, I feel sorry for you.
