So ELD can likely get his monthly rent down to $200 or less by staying at the Nomadic Castle and he will be able to compete directly with Casino Nomad after he leaves the Permanent Address to save money. This way he will also save on gas to avoid driving back and forth from the Permanent Address to comp grinding and revert to the eating on comps method ELD originally developed.

Homeless weekend challenges should be spent at the Southpoint parking garage in order to get the Midnight meal specials. ELD could fast all day to eat once at Midnight for $5 per meal.

I just got word from a source that knows Rice, apparently he's preparing to purchase a few Tupperware containers for his last day of access to the EDR. He plans on utilizing them containers to fill them up with as much food as possible in order to continue to have free food for a few more days after his last day at the EDR. He will also bring along an empty box to load up and take advantage of any and all condiments, plastic utensils, and napkins.

He also plans on putting his self made "rake" in a safe place just in case he's offered another dealing position.

He's mainly going to miss the EDR. He mentioned it. He'll be alright. He'll find another part-time dealing gig.

But how many gallon jugs of seltzer will he siphon. I guess anything not bolted down is up for grabs.

While he might be smug and cheap Rice has done pretty well the last year or so by quitting poker and getting a job imo, He deserves the least amount of hate but it is what it is.

What about the Taco Bell that's open 24 hours a day just South of PH. Once ELD gets Platinum he can park at the Miracle Mile parking garage for free.

He can go to Walmart where they sell bakery goods for half-price on expiry day.

Watch, he'll balloon himself back up to 260 pounds on free food before the ax falls.

Actually he should beg them for any position, housekeeping, janitor, anything. He would still get minwage and free food.

Imagine if ELD became a janitor and had to clean up hair.

He's going to walk out of the EDR looking like one of those padded suit, mock villains that K-9's attack in their training.

Co-worker: "Zach, have u gained some weight?"

Rice waddling away: "A little bit, but I hit my weight loss goal last year for one day."

And complaining that hotel guests don't tip.

He abuses benefits like a scumbag, in a way that screws up those benefits for other people.

He will feel it's morally wrong that customers tip the sexy cocktail waitress that they are flirting with all night but not him the toilet scrubber.

Guaranteed he never gave a single **** about tipping before he started dealing

He's also just a pompous ass in general at the table when he's supposed to be just dealing the cards.

Gets an attitude if players leave him out of the conversation. Gets an attitude if people talk too long about things that don't interest him. Involves himself in things than he shouldn't at the table. Gets annoyed if players expect him to calculate the pot in PLO or PLO8. How dare they want him to do his job. Slows the game down with his stupid home made rake. Slows the game down by "dealing rightie" in tournaments. Despite this his still claims to be twice as fast as any other dealer in the tournament.

Gets an attitude if someone tips more to a waitress than to him. Sits there totally silent and refuses to deal until the big blind ante is posted. Deals out a player who he suspects might have said something about him in a foreign language. Enjoys getting into verbal altercations over minor infractions; and anyone who challenges him on anything is the most annoying person in the world. He's happy to have the only table break due to upsetting a VIP as long as it means he can win an argument. Constantly and arrogantly calls out players and fellow dealers in his YouTube videos.

He's a hipocrite. He didn't tip housekeeping at all when he would leave hair shavings on the floor, which must've been almost every time(even saying he was doing them a favor), but he complains when he doesn't get tipped.

Perhaps with a cushioned bankroll from dealing and life experience of being a dealer he might be able to have better results as a 1/3 pro this time around.

At 2:45 pm ELD indicated it was past Winter solstice, and he arrives at the White Tanks park.

ELD discusses park rubric because a sign states the park closes at 8 pm yet another sign states the trail closes after dark.

ELD issues a legal opinion that Nomads can view the stars in the parking lot but not inside the actual park.

When ELD is returning to Vegas he will update on the plan moving forward without employment.

Its a nice thought on paper,even though i believe Rice has close to zero chance "making it" as a 1/3 pro or playing poker for majority of his income.

Mostly because he is way too nitty so he isnt exploiting the games properly to achieve a solid winrate,extremely risk averse and cant handle any type of expected swings without losing his shyt. He has proven over many years in the game that he isnt able to overcome these hurdles and mental roadblocks.

Rice is also severly sleep deprived when he started this roadtrip,so he was so tired he had to stop at couple of gas stations where he utilized his elite nomadic sleeping strat.

Even though its very uncomfortable,Rice manages to fall asleep in the drivers seat in the upright position because he makes sure to be totally exhausted.

Odds are he dips his toe in the water for a bit again as a 1/3 "pro", but once the realization sets in that he is only making $10/hr plus two free waters per day, he will start looking for another dealing job.

Again, no shame in that. He has actually backed into some level of maturity over the past 9 months, although he somehow believes that he is still gaming the system.
