We need El D to monetize his cooking hobby and start selling goodies to the his legions of fans.

Further to my comments on Casino Nomad, today's video makes me wonder even more about what kind of "corporate job" he has. I mean, who with a legit full time job can afford to waste 4 days driving to and from Denver for a work trip?

It seems likely he doesent have a fulltime job. Its more likely at this point that he has a lower than fulltime job,or some kind of freelance parttime deal of some sort? He seems to have alot of time available to spend on his youtube channel+gambling as well.

I also get the feeling that Casino Nomad is having a bigger gambling problem/being a bigger degen than he tells us in the videos. For example the story about his car was set on fire, and thats why he feels more safe living in casinos doesent sit right with me-it smells little bit like BS excuse to be honest. The truth probably is that he wants to be closer to gambling, making life choices that puts him closer to gambling and/or having more money to gamble with because no set rent to pay each month.

Anybody else wonder about his frequent meetings with a "financial advisor"? I mean, I have a financial advisor and we meet a couple times a year over taxes, annually to rebalance amounts in various funds, and occasionally when a bond or CD gets called early. So 3 or 4 times a year and maybe a few phone calls.

Nomad seems to be meeting every month. Quite the accomplishment from somebody who doesn't trust himself to carry a credit card with a cash advance feature.

Vlogger Jasmine Wolf goes to Herbs and Rye (the restaurant) for Nomadic deals of half price 1 am steaks and mussels.

Clear from today's video that his "financial advisor" does not mean what you think it means . . .

I think he's dating her. I doubt he has much money. He drives a 2000's Accord and seemed to be stressing about the check engine light a while back.

That was kind of weird also. Doesn't Vegas have an Auto Zone or O'Reilly to get a free check on the code the car is throwing with a diagnostic of possible causes? Instead, drive a hundred miles to Laughlin and then back and see what it is next week. That is how cars are found on the side of the road dead.

Yes, exactly. CN already said in the livestream that he is dating the financial advisor, she is not an actual financial advisor, he met her at a craps tables and she told him what bets to make and I guess ran hot. She is also a big degen too.

Does Rice even play poker anymore? Does he ever post HH? Skimmed his channel for the first time after a few years and found no such mentions.

No, he failed in his quest to be a poker pro. He is now just a full time part time poker dealer/ghost town history guide. This affords him to live in a shoe box with random people and buy discounted rotten bananas on Wednesdays. As a dealer, his benefits package includes unlimited soda water from the employee gym and 41 swedish meatballs on occasion from the edr. He is a strict enforcer of the poker rubric and has banished several guest from PH poker room. Management has no power over Rice. He does as he sees fit.

Ive been thinking this exact same thing too.

For someone with a full time marketing job he sure has a hell of a lot of time to gamble, check in and out of hotels constantly, not to mention drive all around the country in his old car.

Perfect example today. Apparently he needs to go to the "office" in Denver but instead of taking a one hour flight he decides to turn it into a road trip. And not only that he doesn't even drive it one day, he takes 2 days and stays the night in Utah.

Then at the end of the video we find out the real reason for the trip, a 7x multiplier that they just happen to be having at the Horseshoe Blackhawk which of course he will conveniently be taking advantage of while he's in Colorado.

If I had to bet I'd say he either has no job at all, other than YouTube content creator. Or else he works very minimal hours as a freelancer/contractor which allows him the flexibility to drive all around the country taking advantage of casino comps/offers and cheap rooms.

It's hilarious whenever you see casino nomad looking like he's "working" in his videos he's sitting in his hotel "office" calling up casinos trying to lock down as many rooms as possible at the cheapest possible rates.

That's his full time job. Managing his affairs as a travelling comp hustler while keeping living costs as low as humanly possible. This allows him to spend his life in and around casino gambling which appears to be his true passion.

how the hell is rice living out of hotel rooms on comps? poker comps are for ****. a dollar an hour or something. anyone know how he's managing this?

Rice isnt living in hotels anymore,he has been renting a little shoebox of a bedroom since August 2025. You may think about Casino Nomad, they arent the same person.

He's not. He's living in a tiny little bunker like storage unit which he refers to as "the permanent address"

In all likelihood it's just a very small room in a halfway house for people coming out of the prison system or rehab. What we do know is that the common facilities are so bad that he refuses to uses them, prefering to do all his shitting and showering in the employee weight room instead. He also eats all his meals in the casino's Employee Dining Room.

For the last probably 6 months or more he moved to undisclosed location he calls "The Address" and its likely some flop house type with a tiny room to himself.

He did go a few years bouncing around casino hotels, No resort fees at Caesars with Diamond and getting probably $10 to $25 a night rates Sunday thru Thursday and then go elsewhere for weekends and then back.

He doesnt play poker anymore. And even when he did, he didn't. Preflop he just played Aces and Kings and folded more than a busy laundromat. No HH's. His channel main page says that there's much more to poker than HH's. That he shows us the rest.

He’s a terrible comps hustler and definitely has a stupid email job. I’ve worked with some of these Denver marketing firms and even before COVID so many of the employees were WFH in random parts of the country and under performers that knew nothing about the product or industry they were promoting.

I’ve also driven 15 hours one way for a work trip instead of taking a short flight and work was thrilled I did that. Of course I drove to grind live cash while on per diem, benefits of an office job.

I saw in a recent video of his he took a pic of a runout and said “this guy raised and this other guy went all in”

Maybe what they say is true , dealing makes you worse at live poker

He rents a makeshift micro room in some type of residence now. In 2025 he played 150 hrs of poker at MGM so that he could upgrade his rewards card to waived resort fees for 2026 for times that he chooses to stay at Excalibur for cheap.
