1. Stick with the two coins for two pair VP games to significantly lower your variance (Jacks or Better or Bonus Poker), for comps and less variance / letting bankroll & sessions last longer.

Best Jacks or Better 9/6 Rio and South Point best bets in terms of comp possibilities in acceptable room offers.
Best Bonus Poker 8/5: Progressive 8/5 at The D Vue if you can stand smoke, noise, and their rooms, otherwise once again concentrate play at The Rio or 3 line quarters at South Point.
3. Pick up optimal play cards at the Gamblers book store for these two games ($10 each a few bucks more than the stale online price) and use top strategy (skill level four), using the cards until you master proper strategy, and still bring after just as a backup.

4. Stop lowering your ADT (average daily theoretical) and future comp offers cashing out offers for hotels you are not playing, especially for low $5 / $10 amounts. Pick the ones with three figure free play, or during hotel stays or multipliers to use during your stay. Try not to use your card for anything when you’re not staying, even parking, as this lowers your theoretical. Those four drinks lowered future comps before they were snagged away on days you gambled little to nothing.
5. If you have time and interest playing a long session, concentrate your play over one or two nights in a week or stretch to hit multipliers and also improve your ADT.
6. There are higher % pay tables in the valley, but I’m not suggesting these due to the higher variance and lack of meaningful room comps (Stations, others) unless you are cycling through serious money (four or five figure bankroll sessions). Keep it slow and steady, couple your increased You Tube income with free or cheap rooms to optimize lowering your average monthly cost, which seems to be your top priority during this journey.

I suggest not going to Harrahs, Bally’s, some call it Horseshoe, others call it MGM, or any other CET property unless you are staying or playing at a CET property on that day. He really should just stick with CET and avoid MGM to concentrate his offers. He’s not going to earn much at MGM with his bankroll, and already lost his status from whatever he did earn via degen craps and or slots.
South Point doesn’t do a lot of mailers, but if you call their host desk to book a feature stay or before checking out, they will give you a comp or casino rate if you earned it, and tell you up front their play expectations. I know nothing about the Rio program, but it seems they are giving good offers based on Henry’s statements just to get players into their dead casino.
I’d also play long sessions within a day to seed feature offers casinos will take a flier on to see if you become a new consistent gambler. Unless you run up a solid Craps session (green / black play for a long sessions), seeding attempts like what he tried at Santa Fe Stations (short $300 craps session) aren’t going to yield much. I don’t think anyone comps much if anything for red chip play, many places won’t even bother rating you unless your a George tipping heavily.
Just relaying my experiences over the years from both smartly earned and degen earned comps. Really need concentrated long sessions with solid coin in. Earning 10-40 tier points isn’t going to cut it long term, and his current discount rates will dry up beyond absolute dead periods. That said, I didn’t have YT income subsidizing losses, so he may do fine net net if he keeps building the channel and increasing his YT income. I wish him well for as long as he can manage to keep this lifestyle up.

Rice was cheated out of a moot court victory by a professor who blatantly ignored the scoring rubric. Then after giving up on being a lawyer he had his wages stolen by an employer, and was also scammed out of security deposits by greedy landlords.
Poor guy! It's no great wonder why he took out his revenge on the system that failed him by becoming a nomad.

Well like I said in my post I didn't really read up on anything about pman aside from his very lengthy thread. Even though the topic had been exhausted I thought I'd throw in my two cents of advice for him. Likely fell on deaf ears but I figured it was worth a shot.

It's different than if he was playing at the same table as the "annoying players" he frequently complains about. He seems to think the players are there to entertain him or obey his often arbitrary rules - preferably both.

Exactly. Rice feels that as the dealer he should be the centre of every conversation at the table. He probably thinks that anyone who discusses something that he's not interested in is being rude and annoying.
Perfect example of how egocentric this clown can be: he once stopped dealing a player in because he said something in another language and Rice assumed that it must have been a slur about him.

Stil insane if Rice/Diesel/Zach uses his own YT-channel to state his opinion about customers that he has dealt to though. PH management should put a stop to that, even if only a few hundred people actually watches it.
I was at a table with Chad at the WSOP 1500 8 game mix in 2017 and he was courteous and funny. IME when there is a "poker celebrity" at the table there are always a couple of players that want to engage them in conversation - often annoyingly so. Some handle it better than others. Thankfully I don't have to deal with that myself 😉

I’m sure you are right.
But that was 9 years ago when he was highly visible to the general public on WSOP on ESPN. He had a public persona to live up to and probably often gave out several autographs each day.
Now he is only visible to degen poker fanboys and Norm no longer a gives a crap.

That’s just an excuse he told work, so he could live his current lifestyle. I have had one coworker never miss a day of work after one of their apartment neighbors shot their other neighbor dead. Another coworker had two of their roommates get too high on pcp and beat each other to a bloody pulp, a few of us came over the next day during work and moved her out. Both of those people came into work and didn’t use it as an excuse to indefinitely wfh and shoot dice.

The amount of credit card advances he has taken out and that he tries to get cards that don’t have that option is pretty troubling. His “they just play poker” comment and him saying the house always wins is also bad, he isn’t even trying to find a game he can beat or break even on.
Then, when he uses his freeplay, he chooses the worst option: chisel on video poker. He could play a high variance dummy machine, find a +ev slot play, or find a -ev slot play that he uses freeplay to push to positive. All of those would be better options for getting future freeplay than video poker.
