DD and Unforgiven are great players, why would I care about being corrected by them? If anything getting free advice from those two made my contributions to the forum worthwhile.

I certainly don’t count a washed out 20 players like you to be a better player than me, so if you ever “corrected” me I probably just didn’t notice because your answers aren’t the ones I look at either.

If you know you are a winning player over a large sample size you understand that variance exists. Your comment would be true if applied to a new player over a much smaller sample size. I always do session reviews. If I made a mistake I clean it up. I even review my winning hands. I do know where I stand after 25 years of winning poker. If I am making good decisions but getting bad results I absolutely can blame variance.

I have wisely moved on to NL where I never have to wait to get on a game and I never have to play in a bad game. It was a strange transition but the players are so awful it was fairly seamless.
