I'm talking about the problem of null data. The problem that Codd was trying to handle with NULLs in Sql.

Maybe you should two should just stick to the trolling and a bit of coding

I'm talking about the problem of null data.

You could start by recognising that "null data" is a really stupid ****ing way to say "the absence of a data point". There is no such thing as "null data".

Maybe you should stop pretending to understand things you clearly have little understanding of, chez.

Your confusing your bewilderment with understanding again.

And you called me an IT expert when I said I didn't know something.

You've resorted to the trolling rather than the understanding again.

You can do a bit of SQL but you can't grasp that NULL was introduced to SQL to try to solve a problem. You could think about that problem instead of trolling but you have your preference.

and you can complain when I treat you accordingly if you like. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing with you.

Chez getting really angry that the perma drunk guy knows more about computers than him lol.

What makes you think I don't understand both the purpose of the NULL marker and its correct usage?

Of course d2 knows why NULL was introduced ffs. chez you are the one who has crazy ideas about NULL, judging from your 2020 posts (unless perhaps you've "altered your views" since then).

Easy, tiger.

Then he wouldn't have made his last post about the problem of null data. Unless like you he was trolling. Although let's not confuse you trolling with you having a clue

All the yanks must be reading this thread thinking "wow, these Brits sure do like to troll each other". They'll never understand the pub culture.

by d2_e4

Easy, tiger.

As long as you have a smile on your face.

It would be too sad if you're putting so much time and effort into making yourself miserable. Would even make me a little sad.

What problem of null data? I made no such posts. I made a post explaining why one shouldn't imbue null and empty string with different business meanings.

I wouldn't want to make you any more sad than you already are, chez.

Your concern for my level of alcohol consumption is overwhelming.

lol

You're response to my post about the problem of null data. Your post was so misconceived that jalfrezi really liked it.

I agree that you've only talked about use of Nulls within sql. You're an sql bod, I'm sure your very good but I dont know how dangerous.

I should hope not.

Lol. You mean my post pointing out that you don't even have any idea of the correct nomenclature for the topic you're trying to lecture everyone on, professor?

I do agree you are best off sticking to 'nomenclature' rather than the concepts and logic.

Then quickly resort to the not understanding.

The post I liked was when he said he was bored of your ignorance, arrogance, stubbornness, and non responsive replies.

Didn't like the rest of his posts. ok.

Chez, you're literally as bad as craig. The whole forum is telling you something and you're just like "nah, y'all be trolling", stop it you crazy guys!"

Yes maybe stick to that.

I’d probably do the same if the whole forum kept insisting that Sherlock Holmes lives on Baker Street.
