British Politics
Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.
You’re really floundering and can’t produce one twig of evidence to back up your silly childish nonsense.
Begone, incel.
What a sad little person you are, spending hours of your free time going back through years of posts hoping to discover a gotcha, only to find that an apology had already been made for the oversight of not reading 150 words into a long twitter post to notice the offending word.
Finklestein himself is the son of two Jewish Holocaust survivors.
Is this the best you can do?

After the October 7 attacks, Finkelstein wrote:[108][109]
For the past 20 years the people of Gaza, half of whom are children, have been immured in a concentration camp. Today they breached the camp's walls. If we honor John Brown's armed resistance to slavery; if we honor the Jews who revolted in the Warsaw Ghetto—then moral consistency commands that we honor the heroic resistance in Gaza. I, for one, will never begrudge—on the contrary, it warms every fiber of my soul—the scenes of Gaza's smiling children as their arrogant Jewish supremacist oppressors have, finally, been humbled. The stars above in heaven are looking kindly down. Glory, glory, hallelujah. The souls of Gaza go marching on!
Finkelstein later explained that this reaction was based on initial reports that only 50 Israelis had been killed in the attack.[110]
In an interview with Emanuel Stoakes, Finkelstein answered the question "Do you unequivocally condemn Palestinian attacks against innocent civilians?" as follows:[104]
It is impossible to justify terrorism, which is the targeting of civilians to achieve a political goal. But it's also difficult to make categorical statements of the kind you suggest. I do believe that Hezbollah has the right to target Israeli civilians if Israel persists in targeting civilians until Israel ceases its terrorist acts.
Dude's a scumbag.
Wrong thread

The oversight of not reading the racist Jewish propaganda you post? That just makes you stupid and ignorant, as well as racist.
Maybe if you didn't trip over your enthusiasm to plaster every anti-Jewish message you can find on 2+2 , you wouldn't have to apologise for your racism?
Just a thought.
Yes, and so is Finklestein.
You seem to have forgotten the time you memorably tried to prove that immigrants to the UK are criminals by posting a BBC article that in fact showed the opposite, because you hadnt even read it?
lol Elracist Elloser with an imaginary girlfriend. Still, at least she won’t grumble at you when you get up at 5am in a fit of anger to go online and post garbage.
Yeah, you posted a claim about the alleged criminal behaviour of immigrants in Shirebrook, obviously a place close to your heart, and in support of this you posted a link to a BBC article that didn't support your contention at all, which you might have realised (one can never be too sure with you) had you read the article in question, thus making a complete fool of yourself (not for the first time).
Here's a tune from a little before my time, but a good 'un anyway.
For you, Elrazor.
We might be better off in EEA/EFTA. Then again, Switzerland is EFTA, and unfortunately the Swiss economy shrank 0.5% in Q3, due to Trump tariffs on Swiss exports.
The Swiss have now kind of bribed the US into reducing the tariffs.
We may have some advantage vs US power-bloc bullying by not being EU/EEA/EFTA at all, and by enjoying Trump's capricious favour because of his British roots and his love of royalty, and I expect the government still considers renewed Single Market membership a non-starter because, due to certain media groups' positions and resulting perceptions (and the particular psychology of this country), it would hit the 'hot button' and trigger further superstitious support for Farage.
At the moment we're performing below the Eurozone average, and considerably below France for some reason (you'd think the bureaucratised French economy was practically comatose, only it isn't), but we're doing better than Germany, which is more or less flatlining and has been for some time. The US, with its notoriously low social provisions and protections, which I doubt most of us want to emulate, is meanwhile going great guns.

In Q3 2025, UK GDP grew by 0.1% compared with the previous quarter (Q2 2025). Eurozone GDP grew by 0.2%, with France growing by 0.5% but Germany seeing no growth. US GDP data for Q3 2025 has not yet been released.
UK GDP in Q3 2025 was 5.3% above its pre-pandemic level of Q4 2019. This compares with Eurozone GDP being 6.4% higher, with GDP in Germany up by 0.1% (the lowest in the G7). The US has the highest GDP growth among G7 economies over this period at 13.3% (as of Q2 2025).

What I actually posted was a direct quote from the article that supported my precise position on this: That the main driver to criminal behaviour is being young and male. Therefore, when the local population of young males increases, then so does crime.
It's true that there are more incidents of violence in Shirebrook than there were before the immigrants began to arrive but perhaps it would be surprising if that wasn't the case, given that the population has risen by nearly a fifth, and nearly all of them are young men.
So yes you are a liar, and not a particularly good one given how easily I can disprove your nonsense.
As always the deceiver here is you. Your bbc article doesn’t cite any crime statistics at all and one can only assume you didn’t bother to read it before posting it.
Your herp deep assertion that increasing the number of young men in a community typically raises crime is no different to saying that increasing the overall population raises crime, despite your constantly failing attempts to smear immigrants as criminals.
What’s more, studies have been posted here several times showing that immigration to the UK hasn’t raised crime rates, so I’m afraid your anti immigrant rants aren’t getting you anywhere.
I've seen snow come off a roof like that, with a bang, and it's quite alarming.
Be interested to see if the whole thing actually affects Farage's polling. His popularity is overdue for a correction, but don't know if it'll really happen.
Not sure if the allegations will cause major damage to him.

That's because, to state the blinkin obvious, in the last 25 years migrations has predominantly consisted of affluent well-educated Europeans, as this graph illustrates.

It also illustrates certain nationalities are over-represented. Can you guess which ones?

It matters because when you dump a relatively large population of young male migrants into a small town or village and they start raping the local girls and women, then don't be surprised if the local population get upset by this.

You'll need another data set to show that people who came to the UK in the largest numbers recently, from Eastern Europe, fit the description of affluent and well-educated. Surely you can't be this stupid?
If you're genuinely concerned about crime rates and aren't just using it as a way of smearing immigrants you should be advocating taking more in from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria because those people commit crimes at much lower rates than the UKers.

See, the way you state this to make it sound as if this is routine behaviour is the crux of the problem with you. Every now and then your racism forces its way through and everyone can see who you really are.
You claim to be a scientific person (though your field is sports) yet instead of providing some statistics to support your bigotry you prefer to tar immigrants with the brush of being rapists. It's Trump-adjacent.

WTF dude. Contact HR immediately before your current lefty clique finds out you used those words.
Very funny but the phrase originates from using tar as a sealant on wood.
