My good friend is arriving in a few days, and with not much happening at home, its got me looking at a return trip asap! Any tips on a suitable airbnb or hotel for a lengthy stay that is close enough to Aria via uber?Ps closest to vegas im going to get this side of xm

Check your comps. At the very least you'll get discounted rooms, if not free ones. You WERE using a players card everywhere you went, weren't you?

Yes, i was. I have the MGM app, but most of our casino play was at Caesers or Venetian. I have been told there are big promo points days to rack up tier credits and get free parking and no resort fees, that is my plan next!

Jockey Club?

If you're happy to change rooms every few days, time your next trip with Caesars 10x tier credits (not for poker, they're NEVER for poker) and get Diamond. Saves you a fortune in resort fees for longer trips. You can book up to 7 days comped at some of their casinos depending on your offers. Given that you play a lot of table games and some slots you'll probably do better than I do and I can get a lot of Sun-Thurs fully comped.

If you're playing at Venetian for a few days and paying for rooms, same for Wynn, click these links.

- scroll down to the FAQs and click on the one about poker rates, there's an email to contact.

If you're staying for at least a month, then airbnb probably your best option as you can get your own studio apartment for <£3k for the month.

Thanks

My next visit will likely be an airbnb shared between 2 or 3 of us and in a suitable journey to Aria for most of my play, and will try and get my rating up with some table and slots play. Then can consider stays at Aria whrn sent offers, and not have to pay the resorts fee, as that really p1sses me off!

Already planning my nexy trip, hopefully April or May.

Vegas 1/3 NLHE is the nut low, other places I have worked or played have much better advertised 1/3NLHE that is what a 2/5 game would be in Vegas. Most of 1/3 outside of vegas isn’t similar to the nittiness of vegas. When you find a good 2/5 game in vegas it is worth your time, until the fish is busted.

I found only a couple good games

One was exceptional

J8 goes broke for 1500 on J 3 2 r turn 7 or something in a limped pot vs my set of 3s. Should have stayed longer but has something come up

I’ve played in a ton of absolutely amazing 1/3 games in Vegas. But then again I’m from Europe where the games aren’t even remotely this good.
