yeah, that food all looks vvvg

what was the cheque per person?

Also...STAYINVEGAS!!!!

Hitting them all is the biggest rush at a table game in Vegas, IMO.

I was shooting for one (didn’t have it myself), and the guy who DID have it was VERY exuberant with me.

Last night, we got a bottle of fizz, and some poker action, Aria of course, 1/2 4 card action of course!

Plans for tomorrow, 11am check out, a stroll to PH and miricle mile, then got to go Venetian and cash out $500 worth of chips I forgot i had from yestaday, and then fashion show mall, and maybe a walmart or CVS to fill the last empty suitcase.

Lets end on a high tonight! Likely the last proper session of poker tonight, unless i wake up early, again due to check out, and pick up at 5.30pm from Aria to go airport.

Decided a solo stay isnt worth the hassle, would need to stay 11 full days to change flight and not pay an extra £600+ for the change (the 11th day stay is free to change)

Plus, palms palace has some risky reviews, and hotels just really eat into profit, and rodeo is in town so not many cheap options.

Lets go one final session!

It’s Vegas, it’s ALWAYS worth the extra hassle for 11 full days! Great TR nevertheless, my kind of nice degen stuff haha

Great TR fazzers - for what its worth the cowboys that come in for the rodeo hate money and its seems they insist on giving it away at the poker table.

Last night...

Got stuck early on, few spazzy hands, but we win a 3.5k pot with 99xx on 9 high board vs combo draw. Go twice, win both!

Out for 4k after a spanish slow roll by a guy with KK on K95K vs my 5679ss. I snap leave after losing $400 to this clown.

But not before dragging a player with me to dice, we wait 2 shooters and catch a monster roll of a short asian woman, i run 200 up to about 900 at peak, and lose half that profit back when my so called lucky girl shots for ****.

Out of the room, bags dropped, going planet hollywood, earl, miricle mile, venetian, then maybe macys and back for 5pm. Lets

Final Day!

Awake at around 10.30am, im tired but this is a good thing for our timed flight.

Approx 11.30 we have bags dropped off and start our wander over to planet hollywood. Earl of sandwich hits the spot, and so does the newly opened craps game that can be played on a terminal, Dan shoots something decent, and the next guy shoots real well, just needing 11 or 2 for small/tall/all. Always chasing these numbers.

We bank a $200 win, stroll through various casinos like the cromwell, flamingo, all the way to Venetian. I exchange my $500 in chips, and we go shopping over the road at fashion show mall. I grab some extra bits for the family, we come back with 5 bags of stuff!

Back to Aria and its almost pick up time. I print off my poker room comps...WOW $70+ and i used it a couple times already for about $40. Easily 55 hours + played at Aria alone!

Hit the patisserie, buy up loads of the big hockey puck style cookies, a mexican coke and a fruit cup. ALL SPENT!

Taxi is waiting, big old thing! Squeeze our 6 cases and extra backpacks in, arrive to the airport, smooth check in and security etc

Writing this up, 90mins into flight, already managed a good snooze, that last min gummy has worked a treat.

So, lets look at the numbers...these are not 100% accurate, but quite close...

Poker wise, majority of profit came from 1/2 PLO4 cash at Aria, which is a 200 - 1000 buy in game, 5 bring in, and 10 straddle. Excellent value and action, no real tough players making moves and putting you under it, very easy to navigate the few play styles, the locals are weak and very tight, and 3bets are always AAxx and rarely any 4bet pots. Lots of multi way action. Confident I can sustain a good win rate with some more adjustments to my game and running well. I played probably 100 hours of poker this trip, I can do more! Next time will keep more accurate numbers.

Profits
Cash poker + $12k ish
Slots + $300

Losses / Exspenses

Food - $800 each
Ubers / Taxi - $400 pp (most were shared)
Tournaments - $700
Dice - $200
Blackjack - $300
PiaGow - $500
Resort fees - $840
Gun range - $350
Clothing & gifts - $3000
Tips - $500 (not inc resturants)
Strippers - $0
Gummies - $10

Im bringing back around $15.5k in cash, so profit made, but after hotels and flights, not huge, but who can say no to profit after 2 weeks in vegas!

Some things to note...

Orleans - DUMP hotel, would not stay again, poor service and rooms ok but shower etc pretty crap

Treasure island - decent allrounder but lacks good inhouse food options. Location good for Venetian and Wynn, and very good price. Room decent for price.

Aria - staying here for 2 x 5 day stays, we noticed a few things.

1. The rooms were great, and good upgrades, but shower and water pressure terrible. Mine also had an issue with lighting and the contol ipad not working.
2. All food options were good, BUT poor opening hours and ALWAYS big lines to order or get a table. Add the 90min time to order room service. Poker room runners could get things while you play, but all costs money.
3. Always busy! The place was constantly rammed. The hotel and casino floor, wasnt always nice to be staying there, 45min wait for a bell hop to collect bags, among other things being slow.
4. Lots of walking, the place is big, and if you dont ask for a room near the lift you will deff be getting your steps in

I would still stay again, if i could get a good price. The poker room really sells it for me. It is PLO central for vegas without a doubt. 5 tables or 1/2 at 2am on a Tuesday, and the dealers are UNREAL GOOD! The dealers in the town are exceptional, well worth the $1/2 tip per pot won, and the rake, $10 typically cap $6, very cheap for the size of plo game.

I will say 1/3 cash, at all the venues i played, very terrible games. I dont think I could handle playing them, and not sure im a winner in these games. So many very tight locals. Game too shallow to allow any real skillful plays, just HAVE IT and get paid.

Will likely be back next year, but during the warmer months, missed out on having some time at the pool, weather just too cold, but its warming up just as we left and Aria had a heated pool.

Until next time vegas!

Curious, did you play any 1/3 at night at Aria? Especially during weekends it’s a goldmine. Yes maybe not comparable to PLO entirely but I still find the games to be so incredibly good and profitable.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you crushed. I might have to give the $1/$2 PLO game at Aria more consideration next time.

$0 for the strippers? How will they make ends meet lol [emoji23]

I played a variety of hours at 1/3, and just found the games terrible. Maybe im slow to adjust but wouldnt fancy being a low stakes NL reg in Vegas.

Thanks for the great, never-slow-down trip report. Enjoyed reading it.

Very entertaining thread! Also nice picture selection to get a good impression of how the trip went.
Seeing those pictures and reading you posts really makes me miss Vegas (been there in spring 23 the last time).
Hope to be back soon...

Congratulations on a fantastic trip!!

Sat at my local cafe, where a breakfast didnt cost me $35+, and im regretting not extending my stay. My good friend is arriving in a few days, and with not much happening at home, its got me looking at a return trip asap! Any tips on a suitable airbnb or hotel for a lengthy stay that is close enough to Aria via uber?

Ps closest to vegas im going to get this side of xmas is these newly installed machines at my local private game venue [emoji20]
