No trick or treaters last night. What the hell?

I give it a couple of spins every Thanksgiving. It seems to help with my PTSD courtesy of my local draft board.
KBCO has a tradition of playing it (twice, I think) on Thanksgiving. Caught the end yesterday.
I don't think it holds up.
I thought it held up. Laughed out loud more than once yesterday. Maybe just sentimentality since it's been so long since I heard it. I haven't listened to a music radio station in a really long time, but it reminded me mostly of my yout when it always seemed I would hear it when I'd snuck off for a drive on Thanksgiving morning for the first joint of the day.

I think it holds up great. You must have never sat on the Group W bench. Neither did I, but a guy I knew casually from school and rode the bus for the physicals (presumably) did. While all of us were taking the intelligence test, an Army guy came in and called this guy's name. He just stood up and said, "I have to see another shrink? This is the third time I've been up here and I've had to see a different shrink every time." Then he added, "Why do you keep bothering me? All these guys will tell you I'm crazy." About 40 of us from school chimed in simultaneously with comments like "Yeah!" "Crazy as hell!" "Totally nuts!" LOL!
It was the most surreal day of my life.
Home in IL visiting my mom, just in time for 7-10 inches of snow. Fun times. Probably going to be a slow trip back to OH tomorrow, as the storm was moving east. It is tracking north, however, which should help as I get farther from here.
I'm about 3 hours south, just outside of Peoria. I don't envy you with the lake effect snow.

That sounds even colder. Though they do offer amazing parrot watching opportunities.

Fall at the arboretum near Superior. Great time of year to be in the Southwest.
