Good evening,Next year I’ll be moving to Las Vegas. I’m an international student with a student visa (which means I’m not allowed to work in the United States and therefore cannot pay taxes). I’d like to know what would happen if I play poker cash games or tournaments in Las Vegas, Nevada, and earn a somewhat significant monthly or yearly income for example, if I play $1/$3 ca

Gambling is not work.

by rickroll

trooper says he lost $500 before hitting the bonusbut the thing is, right now it's at around a min play so either he ran incredibly poorly and it never built up in that process or he took it way too earlyalso got completely bailed out running so pure with both a triple pop, huge line hit, and hitting the major - that's definitely a top 5% outcome for that game state, maybe even

I have ran this game to 90 free games before and got a single pop for a loss of 500 units lol I took it at 28 btw.
One day he is going to experience real variance and not know what hit him.

Gambling is not work.

You also don't need any type of authorization or permission to pay taxes.

But the first step would be to make $30 an hour playing 1/3 NL. Then, play 51 hours a week for 52 weeks to generate the $80,000 a year. You will find the paying taxes problem quickly solves itself.

Just skimmed through latest from Rice, and it seems like he is lowering the bar even further.

Usually he makes something like the 1 percent bottom of the barrell content. In the recent couple of videos he is aiming to make bottom of the barrell content of the already 1 percent lowest quality.

He is just standing filming in one spot, while he rambles in monologue style of a topic he picked. Yester day it was bomb pots, today it was the option of running it twice.

I am concerned. You seem to be consuming a large amount of Rice vlogs lately. Instead of watching Rice videos, have you considered better activities and uses of your time, like maybe smoking crack or something?

Maybe i can learn smoking from Pman? Never smoked weed and never will!

Ive struggled with backpain for a while this fall, Rice and Trooper vlogs or posting on 2+2 takes the focus away from the pain in periods when i need it.

If only The Troopers thought of this, their candy empire could still be around.

poker cash games winnings don't get reported. you just rack up, cash out and go home.

there are tax forms for binking tournaments (something like $5000+?)

making $80k a year in 1/3 cash games (or even 2/5), I'd like to see that happen in year one.

Please don't derail this thread with tax questions. I'm sure there are many other corners of this forum where that can be done

All posts here need to directly clown on the whack pack

Thank you very much. Either way, I’m going to ask at each casino if I need to report my winnings in case I go over a certain amount. I’ve had good results online, so I’ll most likely do great. 😀

IF you can do $31/hour in winnings consistently, you are going to be top 1% of 1%.

As Mr. Rice has documented through the years with his YouTube vlogs, he was able to make about $7/hour + comps. That put him in the top 1% to 2% of 1/3 players. Of course, that was princely sum of money, allowing him retire in few years! That was so much money, there was no need to move up to the 2/5 game. Why risk it, why do the work? $7/hour + comps is sufficient. The only thing that I never understood was why Mr. Rice stooped to work as a dealer? Money was certainly not the reason...

SO, if you can MORE than quadruple that rate, you are going to be top rate for sure!

All joking aside, you MIGHT be able to make $31/hour, but probably ONLY during peak times. How are you going to be able to do that at 10 A.M. on a Wednesday?

Finally, in America, a standard work year is 2,000 hours. 40 hours x 50 weeks.

I think that hens play is fine, trooper didn’t know that though because he missed the line hit that actually makes that version pretty decent. But if you’re going to take that gambly play you definitely need to find some solid low variance spots and trooper still can’t seem to find those.

Has anyone seen trooper camp or linger in an area? It seems like he just gets pushed around by Asian syndicates and runs away angry, off to take some marginal stuff instead of battling.

You don't have to ask anything, the casino will tell you.

Shhhhh! We might have another member of the whack pack.

Shhhhh! We might have another member of the whack pack.

That is an interesting debate what does the thread require if we potenially would add in a new member of the whack pack.

I think the trio we have now is so strong that we maybe have to do a poll/vote,IF a 4th member should be implemented in the future.

Cant even imagine what kind of buffoonery would be needed to be a new worthy member of the Las Vegas Whack Pack!

Will you have a permanent address or be following the Nomadic Method?

Trooper can still do lollipops for bungholes.

Forget about paying taxes. The government uses our tax dollars to spend on things we don’t approve of anyway.

When i think about it its becoming clear that a potenial new whack pack member has to pass an admission test designed by Rice the president of the pack. It will be multiple stuff to pass, everything in the spirit of Rice.

-Eating a full portion of the legendary sardineslurry without puking. Prepared by Rice personally to ensure a fully authentic version of the dish.

-Passing a 10 question trivia. Topics will be King of queens, baseball and old Trooper vlogs.

-Complete a homeless weekend in Vegas,as done by the legend. No hotelroom for 48 hours. Sleeping in the car is allowed. If the president really wants to test what the candidate is made of the homeless weekend can be combined with eating only on comps as well.

troop can afford a casual 7.5k bad run of variance

LT with another solo food shopping video, she's allowed out by herself now? It's getting dark as she is leaving. Trooper must be too busy grinding the good machines.

All that is required is a delusional, know-it-all poker vlogger. Those are the main traits that the 3 in the Wack Pack share. Those traits are what make them the gifts that keep on giving to the thread.

Nobody wants any of you euros here.

And there is no way you're beating Vegas 1/3 for 30 an hour or playing 2700 hours in a year.

You're obviously breaking the law by working here so not sure why you'd worry about taxes.

Logistically just play. You're not gonna make anywhere near what you expect but nobody is going to stop you.
