The murder of Charlie Kirk
Can we all admit that the majority of extremism is coming from the left over the last handful of years?

So if its not about genes and its about physical characteristics then why can't someone switch genders by changing physical characteristics?
Gametes
In rare cases you have complications with development. Intersex. But sex is in fact binary and you can always refer back to gametes
I don't subscribe to gender ideology. You canβt change your sex. There are intersex who develop in a way that makes perfect sense to live and present as the opposite sex. Same with dysphoric adults who aren't intersex
There really is no need to introduce the whole gender ideology nonsense
I've had this discussion long enough with enough people to know that the goal post always move
It used to be genetics, then intersex blew that up so it moved on to testosterone but they standardized that with estrogen and testing, so now the argument is gametes even though these intersex people can't have kids
The goal post moves and moves and moves until you finally reach a point where you can suppress someones freedom simply to tickle your fancy
Thats the only ideology I see
At some point there will be a work around to "gametes" and you will come up with another way, and another, and another
Until you anti-abortion unitards start caring about that embryo once it is born, I will continue to laugh at you.
To be fair, medical ethics is quite a complex subject, not least in this area as to where the line should be drawn. But if you hold the simplistic view that every embryo embodies an immortal human soul and is sacred from the moment of conception, you'll have to take up the argument with God, Who causes any number of embryos to abort spontaneously for any number of knowable and unnknowable reasons all the time.

Ya... but that's the big G in the sky, and us mortals can't begin to understand the mind of God. What we do know is that killing other humans is bad.... except when God does it. And embryos are humans w/ rights, so we can't kill them... but the big G sometimes has other plans, that we can't begin to understand.

We arenβt mortal we exist as patterns forever in spacetime.

The ancients, like Aristotle, Anselm, Augustine and Aquinas (all the As for some reason), did not believe that the soul inheres in the embryo from the moment of conception, although, like us, they weren't too sure where the line should be drawn. Contrary to what a poster said above about the Church Fathers, their view was based on that understanding and they regarded induced abortion as a sin, and possibly a crime, but not homicide until a certain (actually rather uncertain) term was reached. Right up to 1917, the Roman Catholic Church recognised a moral distinction between early-term abortion (permissible) and late-term abortion (not permissible). The blokes in frocks at the Vatican have only adopted the simplistic view -- apparently as part of the all-male and supposedly but not actually celibate priesthood's ongoing efforts to control the sexuality of women -- since that time, perhaps in reaction against women increasingly gaining political power.
This assumes we have souls at all, of course
Iβm not going to bother going back to search. This is not the first time Iβve referred to you as misogynist from your posting.
And I appreciate your well wishes. They are, I assume, as sincere as your concern for womenβs rights.
They were, I don't enjoy seeing people suffer. But since you decided to have your little bf ban me for 24 hours because you couldn't provide any proof that I am in fact a misogynist I wish you nothing but misery.
I banned you for being a miserable poster
Yeah I bet that's what it was. Not unlike your side to silence people for having a different opinion.
Oh no, he doesn't believe men can be women, we better shut him up quick.
I get why I got my ban but are we banning folks that say they do not believe men can be woman and vice versa? Its funny how one day its a slur and the next day its not example Queer

It's always about the same thing w/ these people. Control, and power. They are so inherently afraid of the world, that the only thing they believe they can do is control the culture and world view of others to feel more safe, and seek power over anyone who disagrees with their world view.
There are mountains of books, songs, art, and movies we've tried to explain this to these people. For some reason, they don't get it, or they just agree w/ it.
We'll likely keep having this fight until the end of time.

Lmao. Banned for 24 hours and wishes nothing but misery over it. Maybe you need to go outside and touch some grass one day.

Mods who silence people because theyβre incapable of providing evidence of βovert misogynyβ deserve nothing but misery.
Granted itβs quite evident sheβs already miserable as **** so Iβm not really wishing for anything new.
