The murder of Charlie Kirk
Can we all admit that the majority of extremism is coming from the left over the last handful of years?
Apparently they j
The take of Kirk being a spirited debater who spoke to everyone as equals seems such a common one in my feeds and I fear a lot of the people that it comes from genuinely believe it
Unfortunately for you, many of those people probably watched his videos instead of reading someone else's take on Kirk in an online leftist echo-chamber. That's going to make it difficult for you to come across as anything but an ******* when you try to explain to them that they're idiots for believing things they saw with their own eyes.
People who think the Trump administration can't be trusted to properly boil a pot of water are in this very thread implying law enforcement knew this would happen, or even participated in it and pre-planted evidence on the scene that would make it look like trans people were responsible.
We know why coordi is so wrong on this topic, but what's your excuse?
meanwhile we are getting some actual information on the perpetrator, because the gun was found

Ammunition in Kirk Shooting Engraved With Transgender, Antifascist Ideology: Sources
And you believe the shooter engraved the ammunition with these messages, right?
I havenβt seen any riot in recent memory that was even remotely close to justified, and often rioters are disgusting opportunists or entryists trying to take advantage of a cultural zeitgeist for their extremist political goals.
I think most are just enjoying the opportunity to break and burn things. You don't see Conservatives burning their cities down.
Painting Kirk as a moderate is insane revisionism. He advocated for violence against gays, transgenders, and dark skin tones. He “couldn’t stand” the word empathy.
Acting like his was a somehow normal political stance instead of an endless ragebait factory, is the exact type of sanewashing that has led us here. His death was entirely unnecessary, but that which was sown was also reaped.
IAnyways that's my read. If any of those arguing with the left here wanna step in and admit they'd dance on AOC's grave or whatever please chime in
Annual reminder that I was banned from UP specifically for pointing out how ****ed up it was to dance on the grave of Ruth Bader Ginsburg when her body wasn't even cold yet.
The left in America is very, very unwell.
You said they should be removed from civil society. What exactly do you mean by that? This is why people think you want to execute everyone, because you use very slippy language.
lifetime ban from public employment (and employment in any entity that takes public funds) and candidacy as i explained in the past. Loss of voting rights. Ofc laws should exist that cover those cases and so for cases that happened before such laws pass, you either try to throw the book at them (which would have worked for some, or Fauci wouldn't need a pardon) or you can't limit their civil liberties specifically.
But active discrimination against them could still happen in the private sector the same as we would with people with a swastika tatoo on their forehead.
"we got charlie in the neck" chants and party video on tiktok, must be AI / bots according to cordie

No he didn't advocate for illegal violence against anyone. He had a normal rightwing political stance.
Also, when Paul Pelosi was attacked... all I heard from these same people was, "it's a mental health issue", it's not a left or right thing, or about guns.
GTFO.
It is a mental health issue. This is why I think many of you in here should take a break and chill out. You all seem to work yourselves into a frenzy. Today it's words tomorrow it's violence.
Internet detectives... at work.
Looks like the suspected shooter was wearing a disabled veterans shirt.

I swear, I'm going to laugh my ass off when this guy turns out to be a right-winger, or at least former right-winger.

They aren’t the left. UP is a bunch of dissatisfied sanctimonious centrists, most of who used to be conservatives, angry that they aren’t as wealthy as they believe they deserve to be.
One of three things will happen:1. Weβll find out the shooter was liberal leaningTrump, MAGA, etc: the radical left is a poison we will root out no matter what2. Weβll find out the shooter had no political leaningTrump, MAGA, etc: the radical left radicalized this person through their toxic rhetoric. We will root them out no matter what3. Weβll find out the shooter was MAGATrum
I think there is a good chance the shooter was transgender or for transgender rights.
I just got finished reading this thread. I really don't care to post in it after this, but a few thoughts.1) We are ****ed as a nation2) We should never glorify someone that spews hate rhetoric like this and we sure shouldn't make him a martyr3) Political assassinations are never the answer and something like this is despicable, but unfortunately seems to be more common4)
When did Charlie spew hate? Are you mistaking "hate" for facts and common sense?

Weird how you defend xyz insane action from Trump by saying that itβs fully legal, but when it comes to things that were also fully legal and adjudicated by the supreme court you want to advocate for punishing people from doing that.
I think we will find that what coincides with who you want to remove from civil society will always be people you disagree with and not people you agree with. Which is just to say that whenever you pull this out itβs a way of saying you extra disagree with people, itβs not a principled stance. You end up sounding like the deranged lefty who sees enemies everywhere, rather than like the principles Cenk advocated for (which I actually see value in).
You actually donβt care about viewing people as Americans, you just wanted to use Cenkβs positions as a virtue signal against the left.

Political violence is NEVER the answer. Ever.
But yes, you're going to read a lot of revisionism. Kirk saying that gun deaths are a necessary part of the 2nd amendment, was paid propaganda. Most of the money turning point got was from people who backed the NRA, and other gun rights groups.
And what he was saying, wasn't about protecting the 2nd amendment. It was about preventing any common sense gun regulation, that most of the country wants. Literally the day after mass shootings, Kirk would be out preaching the gospel of the NRA.
there is a good chance they will never catch him, and/or that no societal change will come out of these events.
IF the USA were actually a powderkeg ready to explode, we would have got widespread violence already today.
Like, to be clear, we had in France yesterday immediatly after Macron nominated a person who the vast majority of people don't think should lead the government as prime minister.
If that picture I posted was correct... there are better odds he's ex military. It took the guy only one fatal shot to the neck from over a ~100yds away right?
You have to be pretty well-trained to do that.
Edit: The FBI has confirmed this is their person of interest.
So he's wearing a disabled veterans shirt... not sure about the hat.

could be a trans person kicked out of the military by Trump recent EO on the topic, it would make perfect sense (ofc it's just 1 of many possibilities)

Yes, of course.
We don't know yet... but if I were laying odds at this point with the scant info we have, it leans towards ex military. That's a fkn hard shot to execute, especially one off. I think a good portion of well trained military could hit some part of that target from 200 yards, but a clean kill shot takes some higher degree of training.
Utah Valley University spokesperson: shot came from Losee Center building about 200 yards away.
And most of the other possibilities are a false flag or false flag ammunition.
