If I remember correctly, when Trooper first got started, he admitted that he had a gambling problem with slot machines & video poker. He just about went "cold turkey" when he moved to Vegas. The only exceptions were if he had some type of free play or matching coupon. The other exception was that if one of his fans paid to run $XXX.XX of money through a slot machine. I thin

I think they are both used to struggling, being poor and not wanting to work a job. Those are some things they have in common and help explain why they are able to stay together. She probably dated other broke guys in the past.

Checked out PH room last week and also saw same - to be fair the game also slowed down because 2-3 of the players had to blow smoke up his ass the entire down. And using his little rake to bring in EVERY chip AND CARD even if it was easily within reach doesn't help speed (and I'm sure at some point the cards get marked)
OTOH - he probably was in the top percentage of "dealers" in that room, since several couldn't figure out the blind structure, or which hand won. So he did find a "room" that supports his beliefs

The way that I understand LT, is that EARNED money is not an issue for her. Whether Trooper makes $1,000 a year or $100K a year, it matters little.
HOWEVER, I would wager that IF Trooper is LOSING $30K a year at the slots, and needs LT to underwrite that, that is an entirely different matter. It is a massive difference from making sub poverty wages to LOSING lots of $$$.
It appears that LT lost a LOT of money on the SPRKLI build out. She may have had cash reserves that can absorb that (or a lot of it). Can she deal with Trooper continuing to lose money at slots?
Finally, talk is cheap. If a dude is just not making a lot, but also does not cost you a ton, that might be doable. IF LT has underwrite Trooper's slot addiction, she might not go for that.
Of course, at this point, this is all speculation. However, if Trooper can't make money at playing poker in Vegas, how in the world is he going to beat the slot machines long term?

Pman is not and will never be a winning player, he does not have any of the skills or aptitude to become a winning player.

Pman calling himself a poker player while playing less than 10 hours a week for the past few years is so laughable. To call yourself a professional poker player while you are losing money and getting your life funded by your dad is double hilarious.

Yup that smug grin of sheer delight that comes over his face. Like when he's talking about something that he thinks makes him sound like a genius, or when he thinks he's beaten/outsmarted the system.
At least we get the amusement of seeing his great 10x tier multiplier scheme fail yet again. Seriously this is like the 3rd or 4th time he's failed at maintaining platinum by getting 10x tier points from poker.
He could have just got it over and done with in a day or so if only he was willing to play some slots or video poker. But he would self combust before he would throw a single dollar on something where he doesn't think hes a favourite to win. Even if the diamond status is worth several thousands of dollars to him over the course of a year living in Vegas.

I didn't play there long, but he was nowhere near the top tier of the dealers at my table.

It just follows his approach to poker. Just like he thinks he can be a professional poker player by manifesting it, he thinks he can bank rakeback just by putting it in his bio and doing nothing else.
His dad really messed him up and didn't set him up for adulthood.
