Farage is from where the political spectrum should start on the left, i am radically to his right by a very very large margin.Farage is just common sense center left like Meloni (no bad immigration, no green bullshitting). Farage isn't for the complete dismantling of the NHS is he? that's already too lefty for me (like Meloni doesn't want to eliminate public health here).Farage
Everyone else is wrong about the political spectrum except you, right bud?
He changes the definitions of political ideologies in whatever way suits his current argument best. I thought he was just confusing a few views at first, but it’s pretty obvious by now that he does it intentionally.
I’m sure he’ll chime in within a few minutes that he has never done anything like this in his entire life and that everyone else simply doesn’t understand what certain words REALLY mean.
Looks like something from a Far Cry game about an authoritarian shithole

Wrong again.
Farage will remove the UK from the ECHR, deport hundreds of thousands of people granted citizenship, dismantle the NHS and remove welfare payments probably including state pensions while ensuring he personally becomes enrichened a la Trump.
And you are an unknowledgeable idiot.
It would be very nice if what you list was the case given the chances reform might have in the future , and the ECHR thing appears to be a very recent one which i had missed and i fully agree with ofc.
But the deporting of citizens? he even kicked a person who wanted to mass rempatriate millions out of the party iirc.
He wants to deport all illegals and that should be a fully bipartisan thing , it's literally impossibile to be a decent citizen and not be completly in favor of the deportation of all illegals all the times.
That's not even on the left/right axis anymore (see portugal, denmark, germany), several leftist (very leftist on the economics) parties exist that are very strict about illegals.
Anyway Farage might be a lot better than i thought if what you listed there is actually his program, it might even be a centrist
some people have coherent definitions that they use which can work as well.
But certainly someone who is in favor of public healthcare cannot be on the right of someone who is not, on the economics. I don't think this is controversial.
so almost everyone on the right IN EUROPE (where almost everyone on the right is ok with public healthcare) is to the left (on economics) of every democrat which isn't in favour of medicare for all, can we agree at least with this?
And having Clinton opinion on immigration cannot be "far right" can it? and it can never be

I definitely think this is the wrong way of looking at things. If there is an issue that the public forces orthodoxy on, then that’s not really “support” for the policy, that’s just acceptance of the reality of the political situation. I doubt Farage has any ideological commitment to the NHS, but I could be wrong.
Also specifying economically left vs right kinda moves away from the original question of the left/right and assumes the conclusion in an objectionable way. Left/right isn’t purely economic in that sense. You already gave the argument of “left is when agree with Marxism” so in that sense Nazis, fascists, and ultra nationalists, despite having some economic intervention are not left.
And by moving between those two definitions it causes a lot of confusion.
I’m not saying Gavin reads this forum for sure, but it’s certainly possible
in other news, scotland has a new hero ,a 14y old girl who took out a knife and a axe to fend off 2 immigrants that were following her and her 12y sister recording them. She has been arrested, while the immigrants who illegally recorded her while stalking her haven't.
Lucky she found that knife and hatchet (as she couldn't possibly have been concealing them all along because reasons).
