Something like 85% of the black people in Wisconsin live in Milwaukee, which is itself a majority minority city. The whites are huddled around the lake or the far west side just trying to not get shot or have their cars stolen, while also making excuses for the poors not behaving themselves. We're quite woke around here, despite it only making things worse.
It went 80% for Harris in 2024, and has consistently been between 80-85% for the dem candidate for POTUS going back to the Bush era.
Red state in 2024, by the way. Milwaukee, however, has been run exclusively by socialists and/or democrats since 1906. They soak up a ton of state funding but **** the bed on results. The median city in Wisconsin gets 14% of its funding from the state. Milwaukee gets just shy of half of their funding from "intergovernmental revenue" which is a nice way of saying subsidy from the state and surrounding municipalities. We're less than 10% of the state population but receive more than 25% of the total payments from the State Revenue Share program. It's clearly not for lack of financial support.
Get your act together, Milwaukee.
I'll assume we have a similar situation in these other "red states" with gnarly violent crime stats. One or two big blue cities ruining it for the rest of us.

I know that a lot of professors have been given poor reviews by students who think the profs have violated the woke norms, and he was likely afraid of that happening. I certainly think that college students and young people these days get offended by some ridiculous things. None of that has been mandated though.
