Holy ****!

Ended up solid. Wasn’t sure whether I needed to go Reynolds or Giddens at the end. Felt like it was close

Fields, Herbert, Dimes

Gibbs, jones, Warren, Tracy, Blue

AJB, Ladd, Tmac, Waddle, Olave, ADM, Reynolds

Goedert, Henry, Chig

Nice Ladd fall! I've seen him in the third a couple of times, but it's still rare. I probably go Giddens, but I think Reynolds is fine, since you RB investment was pretty heavy overall. Just not the most exciting group haha.

Sniped on Darnold. Sniped on Malik. Don't know if NWI was worth taking just for the stack.

Caleb, Tua, Dart

Achane, Mason, Charb, Allgeier, BRob, Shipley

Nabers, JSN, Egbuka, Odunze, Burden, Hollywood, NWI

Kittle, Kincaid

I guess maybe better to have NWI than Tua unstacked, but NWI could also easily be a zero. I think at this point, I'd rather chase the targets that have become more apparent the last few weeks. It probably makes more sense to add someone like NWI in June versus now.

12-man PPR:

At the 3.04 (Pick 28) - if JSN is gone - would you rather have one of Lamar/J. Allen or McBride? I sorta prefer McBride, but I've built some good teams out with the early QB too.

Anyone have a draft yet with the early QB or TE?

In full ppr and 12 team, I’d be McBride, but all the elite onesies are awesome, so just pick who you like the best

I’d be McBride or Lamar/Allen over JSN fwiw, but JSN isn’t a bad pick or anything

Purdy, Tlaw, Rodgers

Henry, Harvey, Warren, Tuten, Giddens

ARSB, Adams, Worthy, Hunter, Jennings, Mooney, ADM

Strange, Henry, Jonnu

Do you guys draft on multiple platforms? I've mainly used Underdog and Yahoo. Some of the differences ADPs for certain players are very noticable. I play 10 man best ball games. I noticed on UD, alot off the WRs go earlier while on Yahoo the RBs go earlier. Its quite weird considering the scoring and lineup requirements are the same.

Does anyone have any strategies for this? Like should I draft more in line with UD because it will be sharper drafters? Or stick to rankings? Or just go with the flow based on roster construction and remaining availability at certain positions?

You always want to focus on roster construction and draft capital allocation first and foremost. Then you want to build within those confines using a combination of ADP/personal rankings. The best thing to do is to evaluate the ADPs on each site and decide who you think might be overvalued or undervalued on each platform, and attack/fade based on those preferences. I don't know anything about Yahoo's ADP/rankings, so I can't speak to those.

UD is more WR heavy, because UD drafters respect the fact that having the WRs who spike in the playoffs is what helps you separate. Those WRs generally come from within the top 36 drafted, with the rest of those spike weeks generally coming from rookies/ascending second/third year WRs who are drafted outside of the top 36. That's not to say you don't need a WR like Michael Pittman to help you advance, but he's unlikely to be the spike week player you need in the playoffs.

It sounds like DK might be more like Yahoo, where RBs and QBs are more valued than on UD.

On another note, it looks like Terry finally got his money. I've mostly been underweight, especially when he was going in the third. I'd click him in the mid-4th to early-5th if some of my other favorite WRs were off the board. I'll probably click less if this causes his price to rise. It shouldn't, because he never should have been in the 3rd, but we know how the market will react. I also expect him to start slow after missing all of camp and preseason. I've been playing that passing offense through Deebo at around 13%.

Another 0rb

Allen, Geno

Dobbins, Charbs, Bigsby, Mondre, Blue, Shipley, Kendre

Chase, DJM, Smith, Olave, Jeudy, Palmer, Bech

McBride, Sanders

It's hard to remember to get your QBs early on DK when you don't draft there very often. I wasn't even really pushing my guys, but Cam and Geno went way ahead of ADP.

Maye, Dimes, Shough

Hampton, Henderson, Blue, Benson, Sampson, Keaton, Kendre

Nabers, Ridley, Hunter, Diggs, Shakir, Shaheed, Tre, ADM, Malik

Bowers

Jack Bech SZN (not thrilled that I just drafted Meyers 1 second before the sleeper alert as my safe option)

Pete’s best ball bros video is ****ing hilarious

I need to watch that, but I’m ready for truth serum haha.

Also, why would Jakobi wait until now to make this stand? I guess he saw Terry’s contract and said it’s go time.

The Raiders then signing Amari is pure hilarity.

Yeah I thought Amari was done last year, but who knows

I will not draft a single share. I think I have less than 5 so far, and it might have all been pre-draft.

I have $13 in pre draft and 0 in post, will probably keep it that way also

I have $10 pre and $0 post haha. I guess I took him once in a BB.

Meanwhile, I had less than 1% Fannin post and now I'm up to 4%. I've been clicking him in almost every slow draft where I need TE late. I was mostly riding my 13% pre-draft, but his preseason usage has been very bullish.

Lamar, JJM

Breece, Pollard, Benson, Blue, White, Rico

JJ, Ladd, Jamo, Addison, Kupp, Kirk, Royals

Andrews, Fannin, Sanders

Clicked on a BBM slow at pick 171. There was Amari picked at 170. I guess he's probably an okay pick in BBM, given that he's mostly gone undrafted. But I just won't do it. The reports after his stint with the Bills were ominous and then not being signed until now to a team like the Raiders is also ominous.

Holy ****!

Gibbs at 5 is a miracle. At some point everyone realized that he is really good. I haven't seen him go past 4 lately.

Make AJ Brown Brock Bowers and this would be an incredible start.

For PPR:

McBride > Lamar > Allen > JSN

But JSN is absolutely fine right here.

Yeah, I really like grabbing JSN, but so many good WRs are falling too far that the McBride pick is worth it.

The QB grab is literally if all my favs are gone in that spot.

DK is truly a wild place.

This is a really interesting point. The difference between Yahoo ADPs could be affected by the tournament formats on UD, with people aiming for the spike weeks in the final part of the season.

I'm also wondering if the Yahoo Expert ranks are influencing the positions where players are drafted as Yahoo displays expert ranks, your own ranks and ADP. Where as UD only shows your ranks and ADP.

In comparing WRs to RBs, is there any proof or stats that say WRs have more variance and are more likely to have bigger spike weeks than RBs? I guess it is more likely that to get one single big play TD, it's more likely to come from the WR position, so that way fringe WRs are more likely to spike on a week than RBs. But that is just theory and speculation on the spot.
