Don't get sucked in by the bad faith reporting as if this somehow affects NPR or PBS.
This is not 1962, and the few rural radio stations that get a meaningful amount of their money from CPB simply don't need to exist. Those people in the sticks have internet and can get their inclement weather alerts from their phone just like every other human being.
NPR and PBS are unaffected by this. They might not be able to cater lunch on the 3rd Friday of every month now, but that's about it.

But the bigger picture is the continued attack on the media and especially media that doesn't bend the knee. He's chipping away at free speech and every time he does the trumpers come up with some way to defend it.

It’s the constant attack on the media , universities , law firm , etc that don’t bend the knee that is worrisome .
And it’s not because some will be fine thst makes it’s ok .

There's only been two other jobs reports that have been this far off in the last 100+ years. Q2 of 2009 (great recession), and Q1-Q2 2021 (pandemic). Both were tied to catastrophic events. Otherwise, numbers are usually +/- ~1%.
