Today was literally the first time I remember seeing Manifest Destiny. I've seen the other ones you mentioned a gazillion times though.

and again, it is not included in collections of good art but in collections of history - it was mass media and never considered high art even in its heyday - just like everyone knows that iconic obama poster but not for the artistic merits of it and yet we would be lying to say it's not a famous work of art

I dont recall seeing this in art history but ive still got two giant textbooks from those classes in my house and i am gonna check.
Im about 80% that this was in a US history class for me think junior year and we went over manifest destiny quite a bit. I rememeber answeing questions on what the lady represented and a bunch of other stuff. But it could have been a different one, if there are any.

I had literally never heard of it before today.
I learned the term Manifest Destiny I think in 11th grade. Maybe the picture was in our textbook but I don't remember it for some reason.
